Title: It works!
Review: This is a simple basic little cordless phone. Very easy to use and has the basic features like speaker option. It is small and light weight and so far works great. If you’re looking for a cheap phone this one will work. Just wish it had the clip so I could clip it on my side when I’m outside.

Review: I quickly needed a set of cordless phone for my parents house and settled on this set because it had 4 handsets for not a lot of money ($44.99). I am very happy with this product. It isn’t the best cordless phone system — the sound quality isn’t perfect. But for the price, it is great product. Can block 100 numbers. It has 10 different ringtones and you can control the volume of the ringtones. Handset is on the smaller side and very light which makes it extremely comfortable. I definitely recommend. Love it!!!

Title: Not the ideal phone, alas
Review: What I want: a phone that works adequately as a phone AND has a ringer with an adjustable volume, and it’s remarkable how hard it is to find a phone that has an adjustable volume. I want that volume LOW, and I have gotten phones where the volume could not be turned down and I wrapped the phone in a towel and put it in a drawer and it was STILL too loud. This phone has an adjustable volume. But … I’m sorry, but it’s just pretty bad at being a phone, which is, you know, the actual point of having a landline phone in the first place? That it serves as a phone? That’s kind of it’s one job, or so I would imagine. I sort of thought this was a mature technology and that if a company wanted to make phones, it could make phones that functioned adequately as phones.It’s practically impossible to chat on this phone because the volume of call fades in and out, to the point where neither you nor the person to whom you’re talking can hear the other person. The tone is scratchy-ish even when you can hear the other person. It is, honestly, pretty much unusable as a phone. I guess I’ll be going back to the drawing board to try once more to get a phone that both works as a phone AND has an adjustable volume on the ringer. Why that should be difficult is hard to understand.
