Title: Detailed Review for SLEEP NUMBER bed owners!
Review: YES it does work with a sleep number bed. I had trouble finding info on this so I went out on a limb and bought it, and decided to make an extra thorough review for anyone else with a sleep number. All you have to do is insert the rounded base under the mattress avoiding the air hose located in the middle/outside edge of the mattress THEN put the side rail on. Putting this together without attaching the base and the side only took like 20 minutes (with distractions), it’s simple but I did panic for a second when two of the bars wouldn’t snap together, but I quickly realized that the outside bar has a shorter end than the rest, I showed this in a picture, so just flip them around. The foam on the metal bars is good quality and thickness I think (pictured). I also showed how I looped the strap under the metal frame of the bed, this seemed better than having it up against the mattress or the box. Also pictured is the whole thing put together attached to my king size bed, the only space is up by where my head would be. When flipped down it really doesn’t stop you from getting in bed, it’s like it’s not there. Easy two button system to flip up and down. Lastly, my biggest concern was if it would hold my baby in bed in the event he rolled over. After tightening the strap down and making sure it was secure, I let him lay there as I stood close just in case, not only did he not fit down the very small gap but I don’t see how any baby could really. He is 17 lbs and he put his arm and leg down the gap but the first bar stops even adult fingers from going any further than a few inches. I can honestly say that I am not concerned about him getting stuck in the gap. Which I also want to point out that the gap is really only there because of the give in the mattress and the mesh, if it was up against a hard surface I don’t think it would be there at all, so I don’t think it gets any better than that. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase, unless something changes I’ll be sticking with my 5 star review.

Title: Secure rail for bed sharing
Review: This bed rail helps make my high platform bed safer when sharing with a toddler. It is 59 inches in length, so it spans almost the entire length of my queen mattress. The coverage is enough to prevent accidental falls when rolling over in the night. During the day, the sides can fold down completely for access to the mattress for making the bed, washing bedding, etc. Being able to lower the side easily also makes it easier to get in and out of bed. I got it in the light grey fabric and it looks nice in my room, the color is soft and unobtrusive. Most of the panel is mesh for breathability, there is also a mesh pocket outside for things like a book, some wipes and diapers, etc. It’s a great setup for bed sharing, or transitioning a toddler from crib to regular bed. The side folding down allows for sitting on the side of the bed for story time or getting dressed. It is well designed, sturdy and stable.

Title: Very good rail
Review: Really like the height and the length of this it’s very high, which gives a lot of extra comfort. The way that the arm falls down to is very nice. Makes it very easy to get in and out of bed if you wanted to get over it. Easy to install and pretty good for the price.

Title: Weak product. Not good or safe
Review: Product is weak and doesn’t work at all. it’s very flimsy and not easy to put together. Overall would not recommend for the price. Sometimes cheaper is better, and there are other products like this one that are less money and better quality. Not safe, not soft. Size doesn’t even fit a standard twin size mattress. Leaving a big enough gap to make you question if this was even worth it. Spoiler alert it wasn’t and it’s not. I could not recommend you stay away from this product enough. If there were anything less than zero, that’s what grading I would give this.

Title: Sturdy kids bed rail
Review: We recently added the HOMEAL 59-inch bed rail to our toddler’s big kid bed. It was pretty straight forward to set up. It feels sturdy and gives me a piece of mind knowing our little one won’t accidentally roll out of bed overnight. I also like the swing-down feature and the breathable mesh design is nice too. It doesn’t feel bulky or closed. Our toddler can still see out with good airflow. Overall, I’d recommend this product.
