  • 0:11 | the cabin the ship the itinerary the entertainment the food drinks you name it we’re going to talk about it we’re
  • 0:17 | going to tell you who we feel the Utopia disease is good for and who is not good for you ready to get into it let go we
  • 0:23 | had the pleasure of jumping on the Utopia to se September the 2nd through
  • 0:28 | September the 6th leaving out of Orlando Florida and actually we paid a really
  • 0:34 | really good price for our cruise we actually spent $1600 for a 4-day crew we
  • 0:40 | had such a great time but before we get into that we’re going to talk about first the itinerary all right so in
  • 0:46 | Nassau Bahamas we decided not to do anything that was Royal Caribbean based we decided that we were going to get off
  • 0:52 | the ship and go directly to a taxi to take us to the fish fry twin brother so
  • 0:58 | we can eat some Bahamian food all right so while we were at Twin Brothers fish fry we just wanted like we said some
  • 1:04 | Bahamian food so we got what we call the ultimate feast and it was something that
  • 1:09 | him and I shared together and it was just way too much food a lot but that’s what we were there for right and we’ve
  • 1:16 | been here before so I always like to get one of their Miami Vices while I’m there it’s made with real ice cream of course
  • 1:23 | liquor and what not I will admit it was not as good this time as it was the last time and it wasn’t as strong either and
  • 1:29 | it was not as strong yeah so I got the Bahama Mama and that J have my eyes
  • 1:35 | crossed and then I got the twin brother special so I had never tried that there
  • 1:41 | before but that that Jun was pretty big I can’t tell you what was in it n but if you go tell them that you want one so
  • 1:48 | between that and the Bahama Mama I feel like you going to you going to be right so once we left twin brothers we went
  • 1:54 | back into the port area and there is a bar that we love to visit when we go it’s called The Island
  • 2:00 | if you see it stopped by the owners are beautiful people they went to college here in Virginia two two down all right
  • 2:07 | so over there just like I did at the fish fry I went and I got a Bahama mama once again but I got the extra bardi rum
  • 2:15 | shot that go into it and then you got the jungle bird that was very spice
  • 2:21 | forward I took it down but I wouldn’t get it again the drinks over there Island Post are pretty good uh sometimes
  • 2:28 | they’ll be strong and sometimes they w so it kind of be like a hit a hit and miss all right so our next stop on in
  • 2:34 | the itinerary of course we went to the perfect day at CoCo K my favorite place
  • 2:39 | in the world yes we highly recommend that if you pick an itinerary for raw
  • 2:44 | make sure Coco K is in there you would not regret it and when we went to CoCo K we went to the hway which is Coco K’s
  • 2:53 | adults only Beach area now it’s going to cost you anywhere from like $50
  • 2:59 | something dollar up to $99 something dolls it’s hard to give you a solid price there because Royal Caribbean have
  • 3:04 | what they call Dynamic pricing all right so over at the hway The Vibes are
  • 3:11 | everything so over there they actually have an area where they where you can get into the beach unfortunately we have
  • 3:16 | not par and we have been there three times and we have not gotten
  • 3:22 | in the beach because over in the pool area is where all the action is it’s lit
  • 3:28 | y’all yes so over there they got a uh DJ playing music they got a huge bar over
  • 3:34 | there in the water they actually have table and chairs so you can chill out and have some fun and then over there
  • 3:40 | the drinks are I’m not going to say they’re the strongest but they strong they strong enough to get you where you
  • 3:46 | need to get to I think they’re the strongest that Royal Caribbean offers but however over there I got the I got
  • 3:52 | some rum punches the queen got some rum punches as well and then there was these um guys they was like hey man you should
  • 3:59 | come over here take shots with us so I’m thinking we going to take some shots of some conac or some tequila they they
  • 4:05 | gave me shots of woooo shots I have never forget me I have never heard of a
  • 4:10 | woo woo shot tasted good but I didn’t I didn’t feel nothing though cuz you had
  • 4:15 | them rum punches in so my go-to that day was the watermelon Rita they were good
  • 4:22 | like the watermelon Rita was really really good so also over at the highway they like to do what they call champagne
  • 4:28 | shower that’s my like to be honest when they take the champagne and shoot the champagne in your mouth that is like so
  • 4:35 | dope it’s always a good time when they do that and then the beach balls come out everybody that’s already lit turned
  • 4:41 | into big kids yeah it’s the funniest thing ever it’s a good vibe please be careful when the beach balls come out
  • 4:47 | because you can get bust upside the head Ian got bust upside the head plenty plenty times over there for food this
  • 4:54 | time we actually partake of the pizza for the first time yeah and that pizza was aw the change and as a person that
  • 5:01 | does not really do pizza like that I will say that pizza was banging all
  • 5:08 | right so now we got the itinerary out the way so the second thing we going to talk about is the ship the ship was a
  • 5:15 | perfect side it was some Concepts that they had on there that we just did not
  • 5:21 | understand so the first thing was the world biggest weekend I I get what they trying to do but when we was on there we
  • 5:28 | we actually sailed out on Sunday and through the week and through the week so if you anything like me uh if I’m doing
  • 5:35 | the week the week during the week don’t feel like no week to me I don’t care if I’m on vacation or I’m at home I
  • 5:42 | appreciate them trying something different but but it became confusing on our sing because they will come over the
  • 5:48 | loud speaker welcome to the world’s biggest weekend and I’m
  • 5:53 | like but but today is today is Monday and the the second thing was the
  • 5:59 | sponsored by Dr Dre and Snoop Dog Jen and Juice the Jen and Juice uh so they
  • 6:06 | they started that at sailway and they was hyping it up so up on the Jumbotron
  • 6:12 | and and the cruise director was hyping it up and we was like all J so Dr Dre and Snoop Dog going to come up on the
  • 6:17 | screen and they going to start handing out some Jin and Juice they just did that and then went straight into sailway
  • 6:23 | and we was all sitting there like what huh I don’t for us it would have made
  • 6:28 | sense that even if you had to purchase Jin and Juice like they would have walked around with some cups and a cute
  • 6:35 | little glass or maybe in a shot of some Jin and juice or something like that but it was like we were in front of lime and
  • 6:41 | coconut doing a sailaway party where everything was sponsored by Dr Dre and
  • 6:47 | and Snoop Dog Jen and juice but there was nothing related to that not even the
  • 6:52 | song the next thing about the ship that we want to talk about is we felt like we nevered the wow factor
  • 7:07 | Us near the elevators then you walked into the atrium it was like trying to
  • 7:13 | find the atrium and then by the time you found it you walk right into mustard
  • 7:18 | stations yeah and then you had to walk through the Sea of people that had already taken their steak in their
  • 7:25 | tables chairs over there at sarentos we are all always excited and intrigued by
  • 7:33 | Royal Caribbean vibrant colors yes the ships are beautiful they just know how
  • 7:38 | they know how to work them colors parts of the wild factor of this ship for us was it reminded us a lot of some
  • 7:45 | elements of the icon of the Seas and some traditional elements from the
  • 7:50 | regular Oasis class ships I.E the Allure of the Seas so actually a few days into
  • 7:56 | the cruise we finally got our first wild factor that we have been chasing yes
  • 8:02 | which was the salarium man they got just multiple places so you can sit down get
  • 8:08 | in the pool has a nice bar well you can smoke cigars at the bar yes so please if
  • 8:14 | you get on the ship or when you get on the ship make your way over to the salarium and if you’re new to the Royal
  • 8:21 | Caribbean ships the salarium is their adults only area and it also has a
  • 8:26 | restaurant as well we did not get to eat there because we just kept missing the time yeah but it looked amazing going
  • 8:33 | along with the theme of the world’s biggest weekend this is one of the things that it may be a make or break
  • 8:39 | for you we’ll talk about it a little later on but this ship is loud as
  • 8:50 | heck yes and when I say loud as heck I’m talking about if you came on this ship
  • 8:55 | to work to relax this is not the ship for you it’s it’s like that even in your
  • 9:01 | cabin yeah like in your cabin you can hear everything and we were in the Central Park area for a reason because
  • 9:09 | we felt like it would have been the more quieter area because there’s not much going on down in Central
  • 9:14 | [Music]
  • 9:20 | Park a lies no you can still here to I mean it felt like we were at the club
  • 9:27 | where you could feel the vibration of the base through your feet we had
  • 9:32 | Hard Times having conversations with each other like this like we felt like you
  • 9:38 | know in the club where you would we started remembering that the Utopia of the Seas is Royal Caribbeans
  • 9:45 | attempt to have the party ship so that’s why everything was so loud so music is
  • 9:50 | playing everywhere you go it starts at like 10:00 in the morning yeah starts early in the morning and goes all
  • 9:57 | through the whole entire day like 5:00 a.m. yes all right the next thing we
  • 10:02 | want to talk about is our cabin we touched bases on the fact that we had a Central Park balcony cabin and I am so
  • 10:09 | pleased to announce we loved our freaking cab yeah we did we loved it and the reason that we loved it is because
  • 10:16 | I’m not understanding why so many of these Cruise Lines when you build these new ships you are skimping on the
  • 10:23 | storage space yeah you all know that people are over Packers and most of them
  • 10:30 | have gotten away from dresser drawers I can tell you on this ship there was a drawer in the front where the desk area
  • 10:36 | was there were two like closet spaces separate closet spacing and one of them
  • 10:42 | had drawers and one had drawers bathroom was pretty standard for a balcony cabin bathroom it wasn’t the smallest it
  • 10:48 | wasn’t the biggest balcony standard for an interior I.E Central Park balcony I
  • 10:55 | love the colors nice and clean you couldn’t go wrong with it right and then also for those of you that like bringing
  • 11:01 | your well on Royal Caribbean you can’t even bring your non Serge protected power STS anymore but on this ship they
  • 11:08 | got so many outlets that you won’t even need it so there’s plenty of outlets on the desk and then over by the bed they
  • 11:15 | have um Outlets so you can plug your phone up so they also had like USBC uhuh USB and and USB and regular USB yeah
  • 11:24 | then it has some of the European plugs too so if you got that European adapter you can plug that in and I you travel
  • 11:30 | with one of those yeah and give you more the fourth thing we want to review is the food so overall we enjoy the food
  • 11:38 | yeah above average yeah so we’ll talk about some of the places that we went and named off some of the stuff that we
  • 11:44 | ate and some of the stuff we liked and didn’t like correct so the first thing was my favorite is uh sarento I a I love
  • 11:52 | pizza but Lynette she is not a pizza person Pizza person so because I don’t eat pizza while they’re over there
  • 11:58 | eating pizza I went to Cafe prominade and I just like like their turkey wraps or veggie wraps or a little um side
  • 12:06 | Caesar salad that they have and that does it for me and it was decent so we
  • 12:11 | had the disappointment of our life not our life so on embarcation day they were
  • 12:18 | serving Seafood in the in the Wind Jammer which is the buffet to only get
  • 12:24 | the lobster and sit down and the lobster was mushy we actually thought it was us but we had another um elderly couple
  • 12:31 | that was sitting mide they was like this Lobster is so mushy I was like I’m so glad I’m so glad that you said that
  • 12:38 | because we was over here feeling the same way I will say on the buffet though although the seafood was trash I will
  • 12:45 | say trash there were some other items that we did find that was pretty good I went for the salmon macaroni and cheese
  • 12:52 | was not our macaroni and cheese but it was it was decent yeah it was the best I’ve had on Raw so on night two of our
  • 12:59 | sale and listen I cancelled yes I cancelled my 15 what it
  • 13:07 | what’s what’s what’s my favorite restaurant 150 Central Park 150 Central Park because I got hyped up and was told
  • 13:14 | listen they have Caribbean night on the second night in the buffet on this
  • 13:20 | sailing I said all right plus it saves me some money we go ahead and hit cancel over this D on reservation baby they did
  • 13:28 | not disappoint not at all not at all oxtail beef patty carry goat yeah man
  • 13:36 | cocoa bread yeah like when rice and peas that Caribbean food was hitting yes and
  • 13:44 | we highly recommend when you see that on the sailing you see go go okay so the
  • 13:49 | next thing was the main dining room we always say like World Caribbean
  • 13:55 | dining rooms are really nice you think this one beautiful too
  • 14:01 | normally on the menus on ryal Caribbean they’ll have what they call the crispy crab cakes and even though we have some
  • 14:08 | suck ones it’s something El that we always order got to get it and I was like this time I was like I’m not going
  • 14:14 | to do it I’m not going to do it I’m not going to do it but I did it and I’m so glad I did y’all them crab cakes was
  • 14:22 | fire it was good but yeah they was those those was really good so I highly
  • 14:27 | recommend that you get those I also got the fried chicken and the corn on the carbon the mashed potatoes
  • 14:34 | same same very good very good but for dessert y’all they had what they called
  • 14:41 | The Royal cheesecake now this was on night one so our rub your hands together
  • 14:48 | yeah I have to rub uh so this is on night one so our uh we going to talk
  • 14:53 | about a Jeep once we get to the staff but a jeep was like if you don’t get the
  • 14:59 | R cheesecake tonight you’re not going to see it no more that’s all I’m going to
  • 15:04 | say it was good and the one thing I will say about this dining room experience everything that came out of that kitchen
  • 15:11 | piping hot when I say hot I mean when you put it in your mouth you
  • 15:16 | do and then the head chef a Jamaican Jamaican yes he came from back there and
  • 15:22 | he asked us you know how was everything and I said everything was good I said but first and foremost everything is is
  • 15:29 | hot he looked at he said what you say again he said say it again I said it’s hot he said say it a little louder so
  • 15:34 | they can hear you I said everything that came out that kitchen was hot we decided to try to Mason jar on this sailing
  • 15:40 | because we have not been able to experience that on any of our prior R Caribbean salings and we heard that
  • 15:47 | doing brunch is better than doing dinner I don’t know y’all and the reason that I
  • 15:52 | say this it wasn’t because the food was horrible it was because the service was so slow by the time we got our food we
  • 16:00 | didn’t even want it have you ever waited for food so long that you’re no longer hungry it was over an hour in between
  • 16:07 | dishes when we left we were there for like two and 2 hours and 25 minutes for
  • 16:12 | brunch yeah it was that many people in there it was not that many people in there it’s a very loud venue because
  • 16:20 | they have a live band in there doing music which was not a deal breaker it was it was pretty nice it actually
  • 16:26 | helped because of the long wait in between but we did get some really good options
  • 16:32 | from there the devil eggs were pretty good Johnny case with P pork that was the favorite like I
  • 16:39 | honestly could have just gone there and ordered them and and told them put them on a plate and let me go I got like the
  • 16:45 | regular traditional breakfast that you get pancakes bacon eggs and I ate none
  • 16:51 | of it like I literally just cuz after waiting for so long we just didn’t want the food yeah so I got the southern
  • 16:57 | breakfast and was nothing Southern about it that’s all I’m going to say it was not good at all and then um I was
  • 17:05 | looking at the table next to me that they got the cinnamon roll I was like it looks delicious I hope it tastes as good
  • 17:11 | as it look though that player looks good it look good now it’s about that thick
  • 17:16 | yeah but when I got it it was it was so dense it was not hitting on nothing I
  • 17:21 | was expecting for it to be warm and soft yeah with that icing on it n yeah I I
  • 17:27 | would not get that again so then we tried to redeem ourselves by ordering a chicken sandwich so okay the breakfast
  • 17:33 | breakfast food wasn’t hitting no much let’s eat a chicken sandwich see if we can get that down it was all right it
  • 17:39 | was it was just a chicken sandwich the next thing we want to talk about in the food is the room service breakfast the
  • 17:46 | breakfast is okay number five the drinks I will say that the consensus has always
  • 17:52 | been that on Royal Caribbean as expensive as their drinks are their drinks are very watered down compared to
  • 17:57 | all other Crews L I’m just going to say it there are some places that we feel
  • 18:03 | like makes them stronger and makes it more worth your money and we will get into that so the first drink we want to
  • 18:09 | talk about is called the peanut butter and jelly oldfashioned at the Mas jar
  • 18:15 | shouts out to our friends that recommended that to us actually got it because it’s different very but it was
  • 18:22 | good and not only was it good they actually give you small peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on top of it on to
  • 18:29 | so that you can drink the drink and then afterwards you can eat your peanut butter and jelly sandwiches man so I highly recommend that you go over to the
  • 18:35 | Mason JW and try that yes and also at the Mason jar I got the Mississippi moonlight so basically a lot of their
  • 18:43 | drinks with the exception of the one he just spoke of are all moonshine based yes so I got that and it was decent like
  • 18:50 | I probably wouldn’t get it again but it wasn’t bad so the next thing over at the lime and coconut bar of course over
  • 18:57 | there we always get Margaritas um their Margaritas is usually decent um they could be a little
  • 19:04 | stronger but over there I also got the uh oldfashioned um that was okay it was
  • 19:09 | it wasn’t one of the old fashions that I’m used to but it was strong though so I just got one of those and it was a one
  • 19:15 | and done one and done yeah now this is where I say if you want your drinks to be strong and worth the amount of money
  • 19:21 | that you pay for them go here the pesky parot yes I it’s always packed and it’s
  • 19:27 | always packed for a reason reason is because they can make a good drink over there yes my go-to was the queen it had
  • 19:34 | this crushed Pebble ice and it reminded me so much of my um golden horizon on
  • 19:41 | Virgin voyages go to the pesky parrot and get the queen of course you had to get the queen yeah duh right so we told
  • 19:50 | you over at the salarium was the wild factor for us so over there we actually got some pretty good drinks and shouts
  • 19:56 | out to our friends Addy and ter once again they let us know about the kaarina
  • 20:02 | kaarina caparina Margaritas oh my God I don’t know if it’s really called a a
  • 20:07 | margarita but it’s kind of like a mar like a margarita yeah it was so good I ordered so many of those man and the
  • 20:15 | salarium they made them right and then there was another drink I tried that I just saw it on the menu and I say I was
  • 20:22 | one it was called the Papa Jack that I drunk so many that was good I drunk so many R I was so God lick I started
  • 20:29 | calling the Papa John this is another place that we say if you want your drinks to be good and worth them the
  • 20:35 | price tag please go to this bar go to the skona bar yes so at the skona bar the first thing that I got was the
  • 20:42 | desert pear Margarita shout out to my girl Tanya that let me know about that
  • 20:48 | and I did a few of those because I am that Margarita girl so that was very good for me also Kentucky summer yeah I
  • 20:56 | very good drink that’s actually made with bourbon and I don’t like bourbon and I drink that Jun is good and then
  • 21:03 | the men’s favorite and the women’s favorite because women on there a lot of women like this drink the toasted
  • 21:10 | marshmallow oldfashioned yes I would even sip that it’ll take me a long time
  • 21:16 | but I will sip that so for our oldfashioned drinkers man SC bar and then the mason yard one the peanut
  • 21:22 | butter and jelly those two if y’all want to be right yeah just go back and forth they are good all right the sixth thing
  • 21:29 | we’re going to review is the entertainment man uh we’re going to start off and saying this Royal
  • 21:35 | Caribbean hands down has in our opinion from the ships that we’ve been on have
  • 21:41 | the best entertainment so the first one that we always talk about and we highly
  • 21:46 | recommend that you go is the aqua Show yes that show is very entertaining very
  • 21:53 | fun this time we actually was able to get into what they call the Splash Zone
  • 21:58 | now if you don’t mind getting a little wet we say go sit over there because it makes it even more entertaining because
  • 22:05 | they will inally kick water and throw water at you I told the queen that they was they was C me so hype I wanted to
  • 22:13 | get in the water and start doing the stuff they was doing yes so we highly recommend you go to the op show it was
  • 22:19 | fun the next thing crazy Quest there is this thing that we have or who has the best Quest the
  • 22:26 | battles I’m sorry Royal Caribbean your crazy Quest on this ship has been the best crazy Quest that we have
  • 22:33 | experienced to the point while we were recording we just put the camera down because we would never reair that out
  • 22:40 | like people got caught up in the moment and was doing some things that was crazy thing even with this being the best
  • 22:46 | Royal Caribbean crazy Quest we’ve experienced y’all don’t hold a Candlestick to Carnival’s Quest n so the
  • 22:53 | next show that we attended was the comedy show what the hell you got let’s all
  • 23:00 | join hands and sing kumb as we go eat again I said ma’am 40 years ago I was
  • 23:05 | two you [Applause] nasty then I pushed her Life Alert
  • 23:12 | button and ran off I don’t ask for emergencies only I
  • 23:17 | can’t remember the comedian’s name uh but we we feel like um world Caribbeans
  • 23:23 | comedy is not as funny as it could be but I get it that it’s it’s a family
  • 23:30 | uh but we was at the show um because they have a familyfriendly version of comedy and then they have the
  • 23:36 | do night yeah so we was at the late night the guy was pretty funny he said he said some funny stuff and he was um
  • 23:42 | he said this he was like if the cruise line had a sex package him and y’all would buy it and everybody said
  • 23:48 | everybody said so yeah the comedy show was was was all right it was all right yeah he was funny but you know we’ve had
  • 23:55 | better experiences with comedy at se all right so the n next show we went to was the ice show which they called it the
  • 24:01 | Utopia show with youtopia we always enjoyed their Ice
  • 24:07 | shows now we’re not like we don’t watch no ice cake no I’m not even a show
  • 24:12 | Person yeah I don’t watch no like ice skate I don’t really do it the stuff that they do on them skates is amazing
  • 24:19 | like the guy that climbed up on the chairs and was hanging and I’m like please don’t fall bro so in the ice
  • 24:26 | skating show they show know how to give you those Thrills and make you yeah and
  • 24:31 | have you on the edge of your seat be like take be careful now be careful I had to look down a few times I was like
  • 24:37 | I have to do that in the aqua Show too so please go and attend the ice show you would not be disappointed right all
  • 24:44 | right the next thing that we did was called the all in show yes it was good
  • 24:49 | it was more like musical meets um a whole lot of like Electronics
  • 24:56 | techno drones like everything like when they said they had a budget for Tech
  • 25:02 | they used it all in this show and it was very good very good it was just too long
  • 25:09 | because there wasn’t a lot of breaking up from the musical parts of it so it was just like this runon sentence of
  • 25:16 | Music lights drones strobe lights like it was just it was just like okay move
  • 25:21 | it along so I’ll say 20 less or 30 less minutes it would have been a perfection
  • 25:28 | but like the show would have been Perfection yeah so if you uh so when you go we we recommend you go there too
  • 25:33 | you’re going to be amazed and sit in the middle like if you can get in that middle section yes and on the floor
  • 25:39 | you’re going to be in for a treat and the last thing that we did that’s worth noting we did the Royal Railway it’s so
  • 25:46 | hard to say that in one sentence and of course that is Royal Caribbean take on
  • 25:51 | kind of like a immersive experience of being on a train while on at sea

  • 26:07 | record and it was it was a dope experience I wouldn’t do it again though
  • 26:13 | i’ I’ve had the experience I wouldn’t do it again and everything is so timed like
  • 26:18 | because the the um actors and the weight staff cannot be in the cart at the same
  • 26:24 | time so for instance if you forgot that you needed something with your food you
  • 26:29 | have to wait until the production part of that act is over to ask your weight
  • 26:34 | staff to bring it to you of course you felt like you were on the train you felt the theyed that yeah when the when
  • 26:41 | explosive went off you felt it I felt like we left the Utopia of the Seas and
  • 26:48 | got on the train and went to the Wild Wild West I agree and came back so I highly recommend that you try it like
  • 26:54 | the queen said it’s one and done for me I got the experience so and and then um we didn’t talk about the food up there
  • 27:00 | the food was more creative than it was good yeah it was decent it was decent it
  • 27:06 | was decent but the creativity was unmatched yeah like the chocolate cigars
  • 27:11 | with the ash on the edible Ash the gold bar gold bar with the edible Gold Dust
  • 27:17 | empanadas with different colors I didn’t understand empanadas of different colors but they were decent all right let’s
  • 27:22 | talk about the staff listen man the star of the staff is the cruise Direct on
  • 27:28 | this ship yes sir
  • 27:35 | Ricky Ricky Ricky Ricky Ricky God Dar it um they said Ricky used to be on wonder
  • 27:41 | of the Seas I had not sailed that so I never had an experience with him but this dude has so much freaking energy
  • 27:47 | when I tell you his energy is unmatched his energy is unmatched and the dude would be here there here there all in a
  • 27:55 | a matter of 5 minutes I don’t know how he does it outfit changes off the chain yeah he knew how
  • 28:03 | to work that ship get everybody engaged people that usually wouldn’t because
