More insight into spinal rehab exercises on the CRP2: LUMBAR SPINE course. There are many stages in a simple static front plank to progress it from beginner to advanced. I always start people on their knees to get their form absolutely correct and every muscle I want – ENGAGED.
People who are in pain or post injury usually won’t tolerate a full feet plank so knees is a good place to start, especially if they need help finding the right spinal position.
For the full 10min video for subscribers head to physiorehab.com to see all the instruction and cueing for each stage. Or simply come on my course. That would be even better for you.
