Title: Best earplugs I’ve found.
Review: I’ve tried several varieties of earplugs so far, and these are by far the most comfortable. I’ve previous used Hearos, Stanley, silicone plugs, and a few different Howard Leight plugs, but these Max Lite plugs work far better than the others.Perhaps it is because I’ve had surgery on my ears, but my canals are smaller than they should be, and most earplugs put too much pressure on the inside of the canals and I end up with extreme pain and soreness after a few hours of wearing them. These, on the other hand, can be comfortably worn for 8+ hours when i am out riding my motorcycle. They seem to reduce the wind and engine noise much better than the standard plugs I had tried. These are rated 30 NRR, whereas most others I tried were in the 20-24 range. It is also convenient that these are packaged by pair, so I can keep several of them in my tank bag without worrying about them getting dirty. I can still hear other cars, emergency vehicles, and my bluetooth helmet speakers perfectly, just not at hearing-damaging levels. The material itself is quite soft, and does not cause an itchy feeling to develop no matter how long they are worn. My brother, who has no issue wearing standard ear plugs, gave these a try and found them to be more comfortable than other Howard Leight ear plugs, and has now switched to these for extended motorcycle riding. Definitely purchase these if standard earplugs cause you pain.

Title: Best earplugs I’ve found!
Review: I have tried several different brands from the drugstore because I sleep with earplugs in due to my husband’s snoring. I only found one brand that was decent and didn’t cause a lot of pain (Pretty in Pink). As a woman with small ear canals, this was a big problem, and even the “good” ones still caused pain by morning on several occasions. They also didn’t last long and lost their elasticity quickly. Then, I got a pair of these Max Lite plugs with an eye mask I purchased. I tried them and liked them so much that I dug the little plastic bag they came in out of the garbage so that I could find the brand name and order more.I’ve been using these for several weeks now and have had no pain due to the “low pressure” foam. They do a great job at sealing out noise – better than any of the previous brands I’ve used. They also retain their elasticity well which makes it easy to re-use them without having to open a new package all the time. They roll up tight for easy insertion into small ears night after night.Although you have to buy a large quantity, I think it is totally worth it. Plug for plug, these are much cheaper than buying them a few pairs at a time from the drugstore. Plus, I like that they are individually packaged by the pair. That makes it easy to throw a handful into a suitcase, keep an extra pair in my purse, etc.Great product. Can’t recommend enough.

Title: Most comfortable earplugs I have used
Review: Howard Leight Max Lite earplugsI’ve used the orange Max 1 plugs in the past and always got a splitting headache if I used them for long periods of time. It wasn’t until I read online that the Max 1 was designed for large ear canals that I realized it was my problem. I was handed a pair of new Max Lite (green) earplugs to take a standardized licensing exam. Immediately I noticed how much softer and pliable they were compared to the Max 1. In addition to that, the Max Lite plugs never gave me a headache even after using them continuously for over 6 hours. I kept them and still use them after 3 years. They have a slightly lower NRR than the Max 1, at 30 dB versus 32/33 dB.I used to wash my foam earplugs, but I found that it causes them to expand too quickly if you dry them near heat. It might be a good idea to test wash a pair and let them air dry cool to see if it causes them to expand faster than normal. Otherwise, the Max Lite plugs are extremely easy to use and fit my smaller ear canals perfectly. For larger ear canals, I suppose it might feel “looser” but they are still fairly large earplugs. For medium ear canals, you might want to consider the Howard Leight Laser Lite pink/yellow plugs. The 200 pair uncorded plugs are delivered in a cardboard box dispenser with an instruction booklet. Each pair of earplugs are dispensed in an easy to rip open plastic bag. I don’t recommend the cords because they can transmit noise/vibration into your earplug. When I am at the range or out on the sea, I can always hear the wind wisping through the cord on my neck and it gets transmitted directly to my ears. It’s convenient to hold the plugs in a dynamic environment, but if you’re riding a motorcycle or at the range, the cord can get in your way or cause more problems with noise/vibration transmission.I really hope garages, workshops, military units, and other industrialized organizations buy more of these earplugs instead of the horrible yellow earplugs or the other junk that are uncomfortable to use.Overall: 5/5 stars

Title: Excellent product
Review: These earplugs are the bomb! I engage in many loud activities (drumming, motorcycling, mowing, chipping, etc.) and these work great for everything. Good fit and plenty of noise reduction. I have fairly narrow ear canals and they slide right in after a good roll (unlike many other types I’ve tried). Even easier if you wet it down a little. Once expanded they provide an excellent seal to protect your hearing. Give ’em a try!
