Title: Very good value and good looking too
Review: Now, here is a bargain still. My husband, who says he is not vain, loves how they look. These reading glasses don’t bother his ears either. It was hard to find colors (one is clear), that he would agree to, and finally he chose these. They will not last long as you get what you pay for, but as he takes them off and puts them on numerous times in the day, I think they were a good find. By the way don’t look for quality hinges, but focus on the value of them and you will be happy. The magnification is very good as I am sure that is a consideration, and the strength (2.5) for the ones I bought is accurate.

Title: Light weight and look pretty good too.
Review: I purchased this set to keep around the house. If you’re like me, you are constantly looking for your readers. This solves the problem. They really help with eye strain when reading fine print, and I find them to be nice quality and a really reasonable price. They also fit my face well and don’t slip. My wife has smaller features, and they were a good fit for her as well, so I think they would fit a wide variety of users.

Title: Not quite as they seem but okay.
Review: So I ordered these since they were progressive and would darken in sunlight. The Frames are pretty nice but the build quality is not the best. For around the house these are fine. The lenses have a progressive quality and they are not too bad. The distance fiels is a little narrow but acceptable. The 250+ is pretty good as well. The lenses are clear and the progressive changes are seem less. These are supposed to darken in sunlight. Yeah…….. NOT. The darkening is very slight so if you’re looking for glasses that darken then this is not it. I would pass. The value is decent for what you are getting.

Title: 1 pair would be a bargain. Now triple it!!!
Review: Really good deal, thinking of ordering a ouple more sets so I’ll be sure to have them no matter where I end up. From the bedroom to the barn and especially a pair or 2 in the kitchen, gotta read those cooking instructions. Seriously, they are one of the best purchases I’ve made. They are affordable, comfortable, and really clear. They clean easily and I’ve failed to ruin a pair oher than misplacing them. Quality is terrific especially for the price. I know I’ve paid 5 times the price for a single pair That didn’t hold up (this is a 3 pack). Woodworking is a hobby and even wearing them all day on several occasions still no scratched lenses. A little Dawn and warm water and I’m back in business.

Title: Look great, don’t last great…
Review: Love how these look and feel, but they are very prone to breaking. The screws constantly back out at the hinges and the slightest twist of the arms and “snap” at the hinge. Over a month of wear and the rubber at the end of the arms starts to fall off. Again, look great, cheap but you are getting what you pay for.

Title: They’re … fine
Review: Overall, I can’t say they’re bad for just $9.99 for a 3 pack of readers. I got a scratch on my expensive computer glasses and decided even if these are cheaper and break easily, as long as they’re comfortable, I could go through 30 of them and still come out ahead over ordering another pair of expensive prescriptions just for sitting at my desk writing code all day. But, there are more reasons than just build quality whether a pair of glasses will work for all day work. The main thing I look for is lightweight and comfortable. I also want as non-reflective as possible, as I’m staring at a screen for 8+ hours a day. My current expensive pair has a very similar design to these, with square frames and seamless nose-pad. I was hoping with such a similar design, these would work for me.They are very lightweight. Not quite as lightweight as my prescriptions, but good enough to barely be noticeable. I also really like the look of them overall. But there are three issues with them that are making them not work well for me.First, the arms of the glasses that in pictures look to be wrapped in a softer plastic or rubber at the tips are not. They are hard plastic at the tips, with rather sharp edges. While the glasses are lightweight enough for this not to be awful, it’s noticeable and after several hours of wearing them it begins to be uncomfortable.Second, the nose-pad is not the firm plastic of the arms, in spite being made of the same color. Instead they are a softer plastic/rubber, which is actually less comfortable on my nose because they grip there and don’t slide easily. This may be a pro for some people, adding more security, but for me, it’s just a little less comfortable than a solid and smooth plastic piece.Third, these are almost like negative progressive lenses in that the very edges, especially at the top, are a little stronger. Since I’m using these at my computer with my monitor and laptop screen a little further away than for reading a book, this makes the edges of my screens a little blurry. I got the 1.25, thinking it would be weak enough for this distance, but probably should have gone for the 1.00 magnification, so part of that is on me. I wear 1.5 or 1.75 for actually reading up close, so figured this would be good enough for both. The other interesting thing I noticed that isn’t exactly a deal breaker in any way is, each pair that I received had a slightly different fit, as in, each set has tighter or looser arms, and so are either more or less comfortable for my head. I personally prefer a looser fit, and so am primarily wearing just 1 pair. None of them are too tight though, but it is strange how much I can tell the difference between the 3.While they aren’t going to work for my all day computer glasses, I think I will hang onto them. They are definitely comfortable enough as readers, and having a few laying around for only 10 bucks isn’t a bad thing. I do sort of wish I had gotten the progressives for a little more as they would have at least made it easier to view my screens from further away when I move about in my office, but I was worried the field would be too narrow. I have a standing desk so I’m not always at a great viewing distance for these.

Review: These are very comfortable and I really like the longer temples. They look good and are good value for the money. The included cases could be a little better quality but for the cost of the glasses I really can’t complain.
