Title: Great speaker/mic combo for my hybrid D&D sessions
Review: Used for almost 2 years and still working. The mic picks up from about 15-20ft away clearly against other voices and even picks up on typically soft spoken people. The sound comes through the speaker clearly as well. Paired with a device like an iPad running two-way Discord video and you can make it feel like your remote player is actually there in the room. Make sure you find the right adapter to make the USB-A cable work with more modern USB-C devices.

Title: Easy and convenient with decent sound quality
Review: This speakerphone is really easy to setup and use, pretty much plug-and-play. I can go to a PC I’ve never used this with before and be fairly confident that it will work just fine. Noise canceling seems to work great, I haven’t had any issues with audio when briefly talking over other people. I also really like the volume control, easy to use and works like a charm.The audio quality is fine, although the microphone sound quality seems like it’s not as good as it could be — everybody tells me they can hear me fine, and I haven’t had any communication mishaps because of it. But when I test the audio in Zoom myself, it definitely doesn’t seem quite as good as a proper headset microphone. That’s also in part because there’s a good amount of reverb/echo in my room though, so it might be even better in a more damped environment.However, for the convenience and ease of use, the minor drop in audio quality isn’t that big of a price to pay. I might prefer using a headset with a better microphone in 1:1 meetings where I want to give off the best impression I can, but in general I think it’s great to have around for most other situations when you want to avoid headset fatigue.

Review: 7-29-2022Just an update.This product is incredibly overpriced (by at $40), but is still a decent speaker. It was quite nice when it was released (many years ago), but it’s competitors have leapfrogged it.The microphone is outclassed by a few rivals, so if features, such as background noise ‘reduction’, and clear audio capture are important, look elsewhere. The microphone sound quality is barely acceptable for an office environment. If you work in an office, I recommend finding a quiet area to use this meeting speaker, otherwise the other party will have to tolerate distracting background noise.The built in battery is a cause for concern, in regards to longevity and if it will continue to function if it dies. I recommend the model below this one without Bluetooth or a battery, if you value long term function with no maintenance.The Bluetooth connection (to my phone or computer) is solid and I’ve never experienced any issues. It’s easy to pair with any device.You must remember to turn it off once it is unplugged from or you turn off your computer, as it does not have a automatic power off function, and will just stay on until it dies (which is a huge oversight). When the battery is dead, it becomes an expensive paperweight.When I come back into the office, the unit is always dead and I have to wait a while until it finishes charging before I can use it again.If this product eventually drops in price, I would still recommend it’s cheaper, non rechargeable sibling, as it is less complicated and no batteries that will eventually fail.For the price, Jabra or whatever the company is named now, should really invest in R&D, instead of relying on brand recognition. Make your products worth the premium.

Title: Produces sounds that are loud and clear for both ends!
Review: Very nice and high quality audio device. In brief, it mimics the conference speaker and microphone compo that you often see in every conference room’s desks. It is a pretty compact and it comes with a pouch for you to carry it around while traveling. The software allows you to flash new firmware to the device. Works extremely well on MAC upon downloading the Jabra Suite for MAC. The mute button works extremely well, it is digital and has red LED to shows mute on/off. It also has volume control with white LED showing the volume level. Call and hangup buttons work well with Skype but are not currently supported by other apps such as Amazon Chime. If you need a professional audio quality microphone and speaker in one portable device, then this is your best option. I join several calls daily form my laptop and I tested at least 3 other devices and nothing in this price range match up to the Jabra 410. Quality and ease of operation make this unit the only unit i would highly recommend.

Review: The product is pretty much plug and play. No changing of settings or installation required. I used to think headphones were good for Zoom calls but found this to be much better as it also acts as a speaker to boost up volume from those really muffled/low volume callers. It also means you don’t need to wear headsets and take them off/put them on between calls.
