Title: Perfect Replacement for Wemo
Review: We had an investment in Wemo smart plugs and switches. Cloud support for Wemo is being discontinued leaving most Wemo gear useless.A couple of discussion boards recommended Kasa so I thought I’d give them a try. I’m glad that I did!First off, the Kasa smart plugs are much smaller than the old Wemo units.Setup is extremely simple. Make note of your WiFi network name (SSID) and password as you’ll need them the first time. Install the Kasa app — iPhone and Android are supported — set up an account and password, and follow the prompts. That’s it!One thing that is not mentioned in the app during setup is that you may need to disable the feature that switches from WiFi to cellular internet automatically. This tripped me up but once I disabled it, setup worked every time.The app offers a lot of features such as integration with 3rd party services and applications. I haven’t delved into those as I really don’t need them.I did dig through setting up some automated actions such as turning off a lamp at midnight and turning the porch lights on at dusk and off at dawn. Getting them set up is a bit kudgy but once I figured it out it works flawlessly.

Review: I LOVE these plugs. I have boxes of old times I need to get rid of – can’t imagine having to go back to those, unless I was in a remote place with no Wi-Fi. Pretty much use these plugs everywhere that I turn things off and on except where I have Kasa outlets. Seriously, these plugs are great and very easy to set up. We love Kasa. I should be a KASA spokesperson! My app says 62 devices! I have also bought these plugs as a gift for a friend.

Title: Good programmable outlets
Review: Easy to use with app on phone. We got these for our own use and also bought some for our mother who is 90 plus years old. Mom was able to use the app to turn on/off lights in her apartment and also had lights set on schedules. We use them in our house to provide lights in rooms where we want light after sundown and before sunrise. You can set fairly complex schedules with different on/off times for different days of the week.

Review: I’m very pleased with these.It’s something I found a workaround for, but I would give this 5 stars if their Kasa iPad app supported dark mode. I got around this on iPad/iPhone by using Accessibility – Per App Settings – Turn on Smart Invert.I’ve used many different smart plugs and so far, these are the best I’ve found. I already had TP-Link wifi products, so I was suprised to find out Kasa was associated, I guess a product line.I’ve read a few Reddit blurbs about using their Tapo app instead, but the Kaza app worked just fine for me after I got it using dark mode.Setup was very easy…On iPad downloaded and installed Kaza appScotch tape / marker labeled each plug, otherwise you can’t keep them straight after setupPlugged it in, it immediately flashed the blue and orange lightOn iPad, clicked on Home, + sign upper right – Device – Smart PlugsIf it asks to use Location, I Allowed OnceHomeKit Smart Plugs EP25I used Bluetooth SetupClick Already Orange and Blue (if so)Selected my 2.4ghz network and logged inGive the plug a unique nameChoose an icon, update firmwareThat’s it…I added the 4 plugs in about 30 minutes start to finish.Scheduling is very easy, plug has to be plugged in, in the app click on the plug, then click on ScheduleClick the + and add a Turn On time and a Turn Off timeExcellent price also, great value.So far, I’m very pleased with these and I would definitely buy again and recommend.

Title: Easy setup with Apple!
Review: These plugs were SUPER easy to set up with my Apple Home app. They work perfectly with Apple Home! The quality of the plug is sturdy.The only confusion I had was the box included 2 different sets of codes to scan (one on each plug and one on a separate slip of paper) and it wasn’t clear if they were different or the same.

Review: The product was recovered and set back into proper operation, and the representative, Ms. Nadine Lafuente, was thoroughly knowledgeable about the product and the processes required to make it functional again. She made sure after walking me through the process, to send me step-by-step instructions to bring the remaining 8 plugs back on line as well.
