B0B6WW5ZX8, Klein Tools MM450 Multimeter is a TRMS auto-ranging slim multimeter that measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, and resistance. It can also measure temperature, capacitance, frequency, duty-cycle, and test diodes and continuity. It features a high visibility, reverse contrast display with an optical sensor to automatically optimize viewing in dark or bright ambient light. The slim profile of the MM450 makes this meter almost the size of a cell phone and it conveniently fits into most pockets. The MM450 features the same quality leads you have come to expect from the Digital Multimeter…, 4.5,

Title: Big Features Small Size
Review: I purchased this meter primarily because of the size. It will easily fit in a shirt pocket. I was impressed with all the features that Klein packed into this meter. The oversized display is easy to read although I did note like a previous reviewer that it can be somewhat difficult to see from an angle. I like the side entry test lead jacks. The jacks even light up depending on which function is selected, which may be helpful for less experienced technicians. It has a milliamp function which makes it useful for instrumentation applications. The microamp function works for burner flame signal troubleshooting. The frequency and capacitance and temperature functions are useful for HVAC applications. This meter has just as many features as a Fluke meter costing 4 times as much! It has a ruggedized shell that should protect the meter from daily use and abuse. Overall I am extremely impressed with this thing. Time will tell how it stands up to industrial and home use

Title: Works well. Reverse LCD screen is great
Review: Replacing my old multimeter I really notice the white on black LCD, it’s so much easier to read than my old meter. It is thin and the probes come out the side of the body. Rubber grip is good. I appreciate the zipper pouch. It does start beeping at you before it auto powers off which is a little annoying, I myself don’t need a warning it’s shutting down. I thought the probe tips were too small but it looks like the sleeves come off when I need that. Overall I would buy it again.

Title: Not bad. A great meter for field techs or good back-up to a clamp meter
Review: Not bad. Mid-tier capabilities with a great screen. Thinner than most full functional multimeters, side lead jacks allow for thinness, better portability without sacrificing safety or ability to change leads. As capable as my Fluke 117 but 1/3 the price and easier to pack. I would consider this to be the perfect back up to my Klein 810 Pro or for standalone use in a quick troubleshooting scenario. Nit picks include position of lead jacks right where my fingers hold the meter; lack of non-contact voltage sensing and a lack of a work light. Any two of those three would make it a 5/5.

Title: A must for your tool box if you don’t have a good DVM in it
Review: This meter is awesome. It is very accurate, even measures temperature. Reasonably good leads too. Not a highly accurate bench meter, but this is great for the hobbyist, and even pro’s who don’t need extreme accuracy.

Title: Good value!
Review: I’ve been a fan of Klein Tools for years, so considering a Klein multimeter wasn’t difficult at all. I’ve used mostly Fluke multimeters in my 40+ year carreer as a technician. They are considered the best of the best. With that accuracy, repeatability, and quality, you pay dearly! So I was looking for a second lower-cost meter. I was also looking for a reverse backlit display–white numerals on a black background. I’d looked at Milwaukee, but they do not include a diode check function. I chose the MM450 for it’s features and price point. While I have not compared accuracy to other meters, published specs are similar to other more expensive meters. There is one minor issue in my review, and that is the white-on-black display needs to be viewed pretty much head-on for best quality. Depending on the tilt angle, there are positions where the display is very faded, almost to disappear. That might be an issue if you measuring in tight quarters or not able to look straight on otherwise. It comes with test and temperature probes, and fabric case. An optional rare-earth magnetic hanging strap is available. Besides voltage and current, it also measures resistance, capacitance and frequency, along with a peak hold function, making it an ideal meter for most service techs. One other minor detail…when in Auto scale mode, it can take up to 5 seconds for the reading to finally resolve. If you are troubleshooting something point to point and in a hurry, this may be an annoyance. However, if you turn off the Auto-scale mode, the readings display quite a bit faster. Given the display issue (and that might not be a problem for everyone) I’d give it a 4.5, if that were possible. But it’s certainly better than a 4, so a 5 it is!

Title: Very nice and compact.
Review: I really like the design of this multimeter. It is rugged and feels very sturdy yet is compact enough to fit in a shirt pocket. The terminals for the probes are on the side and they light up to show which ones you should use for the measurement you are taking. I really like the negative backlit screen. It’s honestly perfect for my needs and at a fraction of the cost of a Fluke meter.

Title: Good Mechanics meter
Review: I bought his for my son to use as a Diesel mechanic for troubleshooting electrical systems on semi trucks, trucks, cars, excavators, etc. This is a great meter for that application and understanding it limitations. I would not use this for my high voltage applications in my work place but for lower ranges and potentials it will work great. One nice feature is the meter sockets light up to indicate which sockets to use for the application selected, granted this does not replace knowing your tools and application but a friendly reminder.

Title: Gran multimetro
Review: Una de las mejores compras que he hecho como Ingeniero Electromecanico y jefe de mantenimiento. Este multimetro se comporta mejor que las versiones anteriores y ademas es bastante delgado por lo que lo hace muy practico
