Title: The best alternative to crutches
Review: I’m 6’6″ and maxed out the adjustments but fit well. Turning radius is not great but that is for safety so you don’t tip over. You will learn multiple point turns. Construction is good and it rolls nicely.

Title: Great scooter after foot surgery
Review: I specifically got this scooter because of the distance between the front two wheels is farther than most scooters available. My teenage daughter needed it after her foot surgery and I was worried about her tipping over when she turned. So far it is great, she has never tiped and feels very stable. It also won’t turn 90 degrees, so you either need to make a ten point turn or lift the back wheels and swivel like my daughter does to turn around. We did need to buy a softer pad cover, as the pad is not fantastic for any use longer than 10 minutes. We got a gel pad and a fluffy white one, she likes the fluffy one best. I have noticed some marks from the tires on the hard wood floor, but it did come off. The only major downsid is that it does NOT fold for storage. You need to unscrew the handle bar to make it fit in a car trunk. It fit in the SUV without folding, or you can lay it basket down to fit in the backseat of a car. I also wish it had breaks on both handles, but not a deal breaker.

Title: I don’t know what I would have done without this
Review: I had ankle surgery to repair tears in the tendons. I didn’t realize I was going to be off my ankle for 8 weeks. I initially bought crutches and they worked ok, but I found I couldn’t hold anything while using them.Living in a two-story home, I wasn’t going to be able to heft the scooter up and down stairs so this is actually the second of two I purchased from this brand (the other didn’t have the basket). This scooter came in so handy getting around on one floor. Being able to drop my laptop, clothing, towels, phone, whatever I needed into the basket and get around where I needed to go was so much easier with this scooter. The basket won’t hold a significant amount of weight, so you need to be careful what you put in it.The turning radius did leave something to be desired and I found myself making black scuff marks on the baseboards with the wheels here and there around the house when I didn’t make a turn as tightly as I thought I was going to. For those times when I felt too lazy to do a 3-point (or more) turn, I would plant my good foot, keep my other leg on the scooter, then lift the scooter front wheels and pivot to where I wanted the wheels to be.If I ever have to recover from another injury where I’m unable to walk I will definitely make sure I have a scooter!

Title: Decent basic scooter but has a wide turn radius, and be careful unpacking!
Review: This is a decent basic scooter but has a very wide turn radius, so it’s really not turning out to be as useful in the house as I expected. For example If I roll to the kitchen sink, or down a hall, or into the bathroom etc., turning around is quite an ordeal (and impossible in the bathroom), unless you can pick it up and move it (luckily I can). Instead I’m ending up mostly using my mom’s old transport chair in the house because it has a very tight turn radius, and I’m able to move it with the heels of my feet since my injury is in in the shin not the foot. Be careful unpacking it. Mine came with loose tie wraps around the single bars packed in loose foam, so on unpacking one of them slid out of the foam and if I hadn’t quickly reacted and caught it between my hand and hip, it would have taken off a few toes (on my uninjured leg then I would really have been in trouble)! Some of the bars were scratched and the instruction pamphlet had dirt on it, so possibly someone else had purchased this one and returned. The video called “Customer Review” was very helpful for putting it together as in some places the instructions were vague. This was the only one I found online at this price range where the knee pad could go lower than 19 inches, which was important for me because I have short shins and 19 inches would be way to high, even with shoes on. I have mine set at 17 3/4 inches. The knee pad is comfortable, I only put my knee on it not my shin since it’s my shin that’s injured. The wheels are sturdy, the brake is easy to set as fixed with the push pin (for when at the sink or cooking for example), but is not so easy to release. So far, the wheels have not left any marks on my hardwood or vinyI floors. The basket is nice but hangs really low, I ended up adding one of my small backpack purses by wrapping the straps around the handle bar. This makes it easier to carry and retrieve my cell phone and touch pad. I haven’t tried it outside or in a store yet.

Title: Stable and Lightweight
Review: I purchased this due to foot surgery. It has been wonderful. Its great to zip around on and very comfortable. This version is lightweight which really helps in maneuvering if you are a small person. My only suggestion is to invest in an additional pad to save your knee.

Title: Very helpful when recovering from fractured ankle
Review: The scooter arrived exactly as stated. It easily was assembled in minutes. Happily, directions and needed tools were provided. I feel very secure on this scooter and I am pleased with the stability. The adjustable height handlebar is key to stability, as well as the solid base. The turning radius is a bit large, however, I feel that is a trade-off for a wider and more secure wheelbase. I would definitely recommend it to others who need some support and mobility when recovering from an injury. The basket is perfect – absolutely needed!!!Update 3-4/20/21- I am recovering from a fractured ankle. Almost three weeks ago I transitioned from a cast to a walking boot. I am a classroom teacher who spends the vast majority of my day on my feet, either in the classroom, in the hallways, or out at recess. I would NEVER be able to be back at school without this scooter. It has been perfect. Prior to breaking my ankle, I would typically walk around 10,000-12,000 steps per school day. There is no way I could manage to “travel” as much as I am required with just a walking boot and/or cane or crutches. WIth constant daily use I have had zero problems with the scooter. The basket holds my materials and allows me to keep my hands free to control the steering. The added bonus… my students think it is the coolest thing ever – LOL!!! I would highly recommend this scooter!!

Review: considering the price the quality is quite high. Very easy to assemble and use. My wife fractured her Fibula at the ankle and is in a splint / cast. she took to it immediately and does not use the wheelchair we rented. This goes everywhere the wheelchair cannot. Carpets are your only challenge as it does not coast on a carpet.

Review: Great little scooter for my 14 yr old son who broke his ankle playing hockey. Worked out to be a better deal to just buy it than rent one for the time we are expected to need it. He’s been using it for about a month now. Great size. He is 6’0″ and 230 and there is still room to make it bigger. The only issue we have is the padding on the “seat” where his knee and shin go is getting a little flat already.Other than that, it’s a good size to get around in the house and at school. Would highly recommend!
