Title: This Bookworm’s Dream Come True!
Review: Oh, friends and fellow readers, let me tell you: the Kobo Libra Colour is pure magic wrapped in a sleek little eReader. I’m someone who reads all day, every day, and I picked this one to replace my older Kindle. Let me just say… no regrets, none at all. Zero. Zilch. Nada.First off, the file support on this beauty is a dream. I have a digital library full with all sorts of formats, and the Kobo handles them alll! PDFs? Check. EPUBs? Check. Comics? Oh yes, glorious comics… in muted, newspaper like colors and that’s FINE with me. Look people, it’s not the retina blasting brightness of a tablet, but it’s clear, gentle on the eyes, and absolutely perfect for long reading sessions.Library lovers will be happy. ! Borrowing books directly from my library with OverDrive integration is smoother than butter on a warm biscuit. And syncing with Google Drive? I didn’t know I needed that, but now I’m NEVER going back.Oh, and waterproof? Be still, my heart. Whether it’s by the pool, in the bath, or caught in a drizzle on the porch swing β€” my Kobo doesn’t flinch. The size is just right, too. Big enough for comfortable reading, small enough to throw into my purse without a fuss. And the UI? Intuitive, responsive, and just… right. If you’re a book lover, comic enthusiast, or just someone who appreciates a no-nonsense reading experience, this eReader is worth every penny.Pros:Supports a wide range of file formatsEasy library book borrowing with OverDriveWaterproof (hello, bathtub reading!)Syncs seamlessly with Google DriveComfortable size and ergonomic designColor display is perfect for comics and illustrated booksIntuitive and smooth user interfaceCons:Colors aren’t as vivid as a tablet (but hey, it’s an eReader!)Stylus sold separately if you want to take notesIf you’re on the fence I’d say jump off the deep end and grab this little slice of bookish heaven. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a happy reader right here.

Title: Fantastic replacement of Kindle Paperwhite
Review: I’ve owned a Kindle Paperwhite for 11 years and decided to upgrade since the newer e-readers now have a more gentle backlight with less blue light. I bought both the new Paperwhite and the Kobo Libra Colour to compare side by side. The Paperwhite was hardly an upgrade from my 11 year old device–plus it is heavier, larger, and harder to hold. The Kobo is much more lightweight, comfortable, and ergonomic with the wide side bar and physical page turn buttons. I can easily and comfortably hold it with one hand. The user interface on the Kobo is also much cleaner and less in your face Amazon-store-junky. I can also access Libby directly from Kobo to easily check out library books. I love how you can change the screen brightness by just swiping up and down on the left of the screen instead of having to go into the menus. As for the downsides, I wish the screen was a tad brighter since I almost always have to have at least 15-20% brightness turned on. The color is also a nice touch but I wouldn’t say it’s vibrant.Overall, I find reading on the Kobo a lot more comfortable and natural than on the Kindle. I would probably only return to the Kindle if they brought back the Oasis and cleaned up their user interface.

Title: Great Ereader!
Review: The ereader I was using before this was an old hand-me down kindle.. It finally died so I decided to get this to treat myself :)This device is leagues a head of my previous one! I mainly read mangas and romance novels and I was honestly looking into getting a kindle oasis, but I decided I liked the customizability of the os much more on this device. The screen is super crisp and I really like the fact it has a screen warmth setting that changes throughout the day. The buttons are very responsive and work great as well. The backlight works great when I want to read at night, even at the 3% brightness it is still plenty bright and readable. The biggest selling point of this ereader was the colored screen and the annotation capabilities. While I think both work fine I was a little disappointed in the colored screen. I’ve seen some picture online of the screen showing book covers and they all make the screen look very vibrant and nice.. I’m sure it’s the same for everyone but looking at the colors in person they do appear a little washed out. Luckily for me that wasn’t to big of a let down since at the end of the day this is still an e-ink display.I purchased a 3rd party stylus for this since the kobo one was a little expensive. It worked fine and did what its supposed to. I realized after having it for a few days that it was unnecessary for me because I don’t find myself reaching to write something while I’m reading. If anything I would just highlight quotes from the books, but you don’t need the stylus to use the highlighting feature. There is also a notebook section that allows you to just take notes or do journalling. This wasn’t something I tried extensively, but it functioned fine. The device has a bunch of built in. templates and presets you could use straight out the box.Importing books to this is also super super easy and honestly doesn’t take that long. You can upload epubs or pdfs directly to your kobo wirelessly through dropbox, google drive, or an online website (all this can be done with just your phone). It also has a overdrive section built into the UI if you borrow ebooks from the library (I used to on my kindle, but you would have to take extra steps and it wasn’t as streamlined). Also importing books from a laptop as simple as just drag and drop! Unfortunately the storage isn’t expandable like previous models that used a micro sd card, so if you mainly read manga or comics on this you’ll fun out of storage kinda quickly.Only giving this 4 stars because of the storage limitations, but other than that I have no complaints and so far everything works great!

Review: I rarely write reviews but I couldn’t hold back on this device. I have been thinking of purchasing ereader for long time and this really gave me a good impression. I extremely happy about pocket and google drive as these 2 features seamlessly syncs books across different devices. It’s still day 1 and let’s see how much I’m gonna use it on day to day basis to improve my productivity and reading habit. Thanks Kobo and Amazon for such delightful experience

Review: Very happy with my purchase. First e reader I get. Some difficulties to read files from my local library though, that could unfortunately not be fixed by the Kobo customer service.
