Title: EXCELLENT….for in home.
Review: I bought this device because my husband is hard of hearing and when he is in another room of the house that he sits with his headphones on to watch tv he cannot hear the telephone ring. This is awesome. It works perfectly. We will add it to other rooms if it becomes necessary. WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!!! Perfect for anyone with a hearing problem, the light flashes and lets you know the phone is ringing. It could be used by many for different reasons to let them know the phone is ringing. And the price is great too.

Title: Don’t use it with a newer less powerful modem if your phone service is from a cable co.
Review: I use a cable co. for the phone etc. This flashing light worked fine. But here’s the thing I want everybody to know. The old modem had a separate router. probably more powerful than the one they replaced it with, which has the modem and router in one. The phone with its flashing light would continuously shut off indiscriminately with anyone even calling. (Is that weird?) This went on for over two weeks with dozens of calls to the co. (from my cell, of course) and finally a senior service tech came here yesterday. He fixed the problem. The flashing light cannot be used. It had to be disconnected because the new modem can’t handle the power needed. See, I have 9 phones on the 1 line, upstairs, downstairs, and workshop, and now without the light, they all work fine again even with the less powerful modem.

Title: Very useful for both loud and quiet environments
Review: This device simply takes the voltage from the phone line to light the bright LEDs. The like will brightly flicker with each ring. During the day, I suggest pointing the light toward the viewer(s). The reflection cannot overcome daylight/office lighting. At night, it can be pointed toward the ceiling so the flash is less harsh. I use it in a loud room where I may not hear the phone ring. In a quiet room, I have the ringer muted and let the flash signal a call. The unit could be improved by having non-permanent mounting (such as magnetic) and having the ‘unit out’ port on the same side as the wire in. Better yet, have a ‘unit in’ port with a short wire accessory.

Title: Known Phone Flasher Great Purchase
Review: My 92 year old Mother in Law is very hearing impaired. She couldn’t hear her TV which is located at the opposite end of the family room, so we got her blue tooth head phones. She was so happy with the modern technology but we had a new problem, she didn’t hear the phone ringing. When she doesn’t answer the phone we get worried and go check on her. That can occur several times a day. After a little research I found the Known Phone Flasher. It has been a life saver. It is so easy to set up. Needs a phone jack and a electrical outlet which for us was located at the TV. We set it up and placed the flasher in front of the TV and when the phone rings this extremely bright white flashing light happens. She sees it and knows the phone is ringing. This has been the best purchase I have made in a very long time.

Title: useful device, but brightness not always enough
Review: During incoming calls on a landline phone, this thing flashes in bright, cool white light. It makes no sound itself, but works whether the phone’s audible ringer is on or off. It makes fast pulses in time with the phone’s own ringing, not the slow on/off flashes I was expecting (see the attached video review – I had the ringer off in that video clip). How bright is it?It’s actually brighter than it looks in my video clip. Not nearly as bright as a camera flash, but it’s almost uncomfortably bright to look directly in to. If you’re looking towards it when someone calls, you can’t miss it. If you’re looking away from it, you’ll be notified by the light pulses reflecting off the walls. However during daytime, during a bright day, its brightness might barely be noticeable if you’re facing away from it.The package says “newly improved 180-degree dome cover and 10Cd (candela) ultra bright LED”. Wide dispersion angle is a good idea, but it’s simply not always bright enough during daylight hours. My experience only, yours may differ, it might be perfectly adequate for some. It’s a good idea to try aiming the light in different directions (and maybe locate it higher up) to see which orientation gives maximum visibility.BTW, the description says it requires at least 75V to operate properly. It’s not clear if this means line voltage or ringing voltage, which is higher. My phone line is about 50V when not ringing. It’s very basic – no buttons or switches, no on/off, you just plug it in, inline with the phone. Overly expensive for such a simple device. Greater brightness or self-adjusting brightness (brighter during the day) would be an improvement. Being able to flash in other colors would be better still (more attention-getting). Still, it’s a useful aid for any landline phone if you want to ‘see’ the phone ring.

Title: For our Nana
Review: Our Nana has just went to an assisted living apartment. She can’t hear crap, so we thought this would be a good way for her to answer our calls, even though the ole bat says we never call, it’s b/c she can’t hear or maybe she does just ignore our calls until she want’s something. This thing is great it lights up and there’s no ignoring it.This review was for giggles, We love our Nana!Highly recommend

Title: So bummed…
Review: I am so bummed this did not work. I really need something like for my phone at work. The first one I bought didn’t work. I thought maybe it’s just a “dud” and sometimes that happens, so I purchased another one hoping the second one would work, but that one didn’t work either. I called the phone number on the back of the package and spoke to a women at the Krown company and she said it should work. I told her I was in a office and asked if it was possible it was because of our phone system, but she said it should work. It’s very easy to hook up, so I wasn’t doing it wrong. She really couldn’t tell me why both devices would not work. Luckily I purchased these as a Prime item and I will be returning both for a hassle free refund as defective items,
