Review: UPDATE (March 2023)- One power supply/AC adaptor went bad (of my 4 sets of lights), so I purchased another set, just to get a compatible replacement- The new “extension” light strips (meaning not the first strip, that has the button) look identical to the old ones, and connect and light up together- The first strip, with the button and which connects to the AC adaptor, looks different (I like the look of the older ones better) but works fine- THE NEW AC ADAPTER IS BLACK. The old ones were white, matching the strips themselves which were and still are white. It’s not all bad, because the black AC adapter is much lower profile and sticks out less from the plug, BUT IT’S BLACK. It plugs into the old LED strip just fine.ORIGINAL (June 2022)These are a total win: if you’re on the fence, buy them.- Nice and bright (I think in one of the questions it says 200 lumens per 20 inch light strip)- The 4000K strips are a nice white color- Installation is about as easy as it gets: peel the backing off the light strip and stick it up. It also comes with 6 or 8 little plastic clips which are also peel and stick to hold up the wire between the first light strip and the power outlet.- Multiple kits work off the same remote with no programming required (what I wanted, for three separate cabinets around the kitchen)- Comes with a few 3 inch and a few 5 inch connecting cables, so you can (1) connect light strips directly together, so no additional light between strips, or (2) connect the light strips with the cables in between to basically give you a longer total light emission length.- You CAN cut the strips, anywhere you see the three little copper pieces on the strips, to customize the total length. Two separate cabinets in my kitchen are both a little over 30 inches across: for those, I connected two light strips directly together and cut off about half of the second strip, to keep the brightness similar to my other, 8ft cabinet.We’ll see how the adhesion of the tape holds up (I cleaned the cabinet before I installed the first long length of light strips, forgot about this when installing the two shorter lengths) but if I end up having to mess with that it will likely be my fault.FYI, I saw a few reviews talking about remote issues, specifically that their TV remote would mess with the lights. No issues with my LG Magic Remote (circa 2018), which is bluetooth and IR.

Title: Satisfied, Work as Expected
Review: Satisfied with the brightness. Because I don’t know the life span of these lights yet, cannot give it the 5 stars. When received, I thought I had gotten the wrong product and created a return. Then took a little more time to examine it, realized it was what I ordered, canceled the return and installed the. Very pleased. It’s connected to a power strip that is controlled with a clicker so I don’t have to use the remote. The clicker controls these lights and the bookcase lights, so, all go on and off together.

Review: 05/05/2025, update reviewThe replacement works just fine and with that I go back to a 5-star. I really like the warm yellow color of the light which is perfect for under the counter in the morning, and much less harsh than some of the “natural” blue color LEDs.Several levels of brightness and various pre-set timers.Lesson learned: try the entire strip and remote function before putting up. A lot less irritating than having to take it all down should it not work. Aside from that, would and will buy another set.———- Initial review below ———-05/02/2025Had one before and loved it. Never had any issues with it. Bought a second one after a recent move and the receiver (plug) does not respond to the remote. Even after replacing the remote battery it’s not responding. Bummer.The remote itself seems to work (Hint, if you’re not aware of this : turn on your phone camera, aim the remote at your phone/camera, and you’ll see the IR emitter flicker on your phone screen). The manual switch at the plug itself works but only in on-off mode; no dimming possible with the switch alone.Contacted amazon customer service and they shipped a new one out right away. Let’s see if that one works.I’ll revise the low rating once/if the replacement works.

Title: Failed after a year of light use
Review: I’ve had these lights for about 18 months. I would give them 5 stars, because they had been working great. I used them daily in the evenings under my kitchen cabinets and turned them off before bed. But now they are flickering constantly and unusable. Not too bad for the price, but I wish they lasted longer.

Title: Wonderful lighting! Easy to install!
Review: We put these lights under our cabinet and they light up the whole countertop. The remote is very helpful! Also, the lights are easy to install and they stay up. They’re bright, but also soft, and nice to have on at night. We’re going to put them under a closet opening as well (closet is 12′ long), and we can do that because there’s an outlet right below the opening. I’m purchasing more of these for some other areas. We’ve had them up for 2-3 months now and love them.
