Title: Large, Bright, and Very Useful
Review: This lighted magnifying glass is impressively large and easy to use. The multiple lighting modes and adjustable brightness make it adaptable to different lighting preferences or conditions. It takes 3 AAA batteries.I’ve found it especially helpful for ancestry research when viewing old photos and documents, where extra clarity really matters. I’ve used it many times already and consider it a very useful tool.An easy 5-star rating for me.

Title: Did not know I missed having a Magnifying Glass so much.
Review: It’s been 20 years since I last used a magnifying glass and when I did it was not this big. It will be harder to misplace and that’s a good thing. I was getting long without one for the most part by taking photo’s on my phone and expanding it to see the small stuff. This magnifying glass is easier to use and you don’t forget to delete needless photos. I do like the size and I actually like that it uses batteries for the lights, which is quite useful. There is a flicker in the lower single LED when using the 5000k setting and decreases as you run it down to maybe 3000K, that single light turns off at the lowest Kelvin setting too.I do not find myself using the 20X much all, the 10x a little. I sort of debate whether either are really useful given the slight distraction the 10x poses in the large glass. As with any Magnifying Glass watch the kids outdoors on a sunny day. Kids will be kids when they have one in their hands, we all misused them at that age.I have used it for the light itself a time or two in the past week. It’s there so why not. I can really see the benefit of having the LED’s all around the outer frame. You don’t get that on cheaper ones. Not sure if the changing the Kelvin setting is really needed, maybe in prolonged usage it is.It’s good to have a magnifying glass back in the house now. Having a higher end one is even better so 5 Stars for this one.

Title: Good for general use. Very good acrylic lenses and strong lighting. Average build quality.
Review: This review is for the “No. 2127 Extra Large Lenses” magnifying glass with a 135mm 5x main lens and an inset 27mm 10x lens, and a separate 20x 26mm lens in the handle. While the product is sold by Ebbnivs, the product appears to be generic, as the name does not appear on the product, packaging, or instructions. This magnifying glass was $30 at the time of review, which puts it in the middle of the price range for similar products.Overall, I think it’s a nice magnifying glass for general use. The plastic body is just average to below average for the category, but you get a relatively large lens that’s made from high-quality acrylic. It’s good for text, producing a clear picture with minimal color fringing, a problem that’s very noticeable with cheaper polycarbonate lenses and even some glass magnifiers. It’s also much lighter, shatterproof, and more affordable than glass, but you get somewhat less contrast, and the lens surface is more prone to scratching. The LEDs are powered by 3x AAA batteries and get very bright, letting this magnifying glass double as a flashlight. Personally, I think the adjustable color temperature and associated buttons are overkill, but the adjustable brightness is nice. Personally, I think a single warm white setting with lower brightness but high CRI would be ideal.
