Review: I recently took up the hobby of tying flies for fly fishing. As much as I love it, I should have started years ago when my eyes were sharper. For smaller flies, with the naked eye my work is entirely theoretical – I can’t see a thing I’m doing.This magnifying lamp is a terrific tool. The magnifying lens makes seeing even the smallest flies easy, and the adjustable light works extremely well. The lamp’s arm is highly mobile, offering a range of motion that allows me to freely use my hands and my rotator vise with ease. The lens easily cleans up, and when not in use the lamp collapses to a manageable size for storage.This lamp is strictly utilitarian – no frills or decorations on its black surface.Highly recommended and a great value.

Review: Great light for the price. Definitely recommend buying the base that will sit on the table. I have actually used it more with the base than I have with the clamp, surprisingly. The arms articulate well and the lamp is relatively bright. The magnifying area is kind of small but it still does the trick if I need to look at my needle work more closely for a second. I think I would need a bigger one for some of the work that I do where I need to look through the magnifying glass constantly though. But this is a great little lamp for more task lighting and the intermittent magnifying glass use. Especially for the price!

Title: Almost perfect
Review: I went through 4 different lamp/magnifying glasses like thins before I found this one. I cross stitch and I really didn’t want to end up screwing up my eyes trying to see especially in my dim room when I am doing tiny stitches. this light is absolutely perfect. It is big enough, it lets me lean back on my couch as long as it is clipped to the little board I use to put my cross stitch on, and the light is nice and bright. The only issue I have is that the neck is too short. I really wish it were longer so I could make it stay better in the position i want. Otherwise it is absolutely perfect. So much so, that when I showed it to my mother she right away requested I get one for my step-father’s birthday because his eyesight is failing him and he needs it to be able to use the computer, keyboard, and read books. I ordered it right away.The price is honestly worth it. At first I was a little weary of paying 30 dollars for it but now having had it for as long as I have, I absolutely would buy it again. I have started using it for so many things. I used it when I painted details on my graduation cap, when I was crocheting in the dark room, I will probably be using it when I am painting my next painting too. The lamp is so perfect and that magnifying glass is big enough that it does not distort anything. I am absolutely blown away. Go buy it now!!!

Title: What I needed for my hobby
Review: I paint miniatures for as a hobby and it’s been frustrating to be able to paint the details the way I used to. I bought this to help and the light helps if I work on them at night.The quality looks good and seems solid for now now. Installation and use has been a breeze and it’s been quite stable where I placed it last night.I did use last night after assembling a desk I bought and organizing my miniatures, paints and other accessories and had been impressed with magnification while I was assembling a model last night and the magnification is just perfect and made assembly much easier for me.I haven’t tried out the stand yet, so I can’t I can’t attest to its stability with that yet, but does work great with the clamp and the size is a perfect fit for my needs.
