Review: Just what I needed for crafting (macrame, mini-macrame, felting, needlework): but it is not lightweight. The base if heavy: has the clamp which is very strong. The arms are double and work very easily: no force required. The entire thing is maneuverable so it has lots of positions: even the head itself can be rotated and up/down by itself. I think the larger viewing area will be great: just need to get used to using it. I like that there are multiple degrees to the light: it is a bright white light which is good for crafting. A bit expensive but I really like it: hopefully, it lasts for years to come!

Review: I use this for small projects and it is excellent. The arm is quiet, stays where I put it and has plenty of range. The light is adjustable for brightness and remembers your last setting. Magnifying glass is good and it even comes with a microfiber cloth for cleaning. No problem recommending this.

Title: This lamp is too good for me!
Review: When I saw the box it arrived in, smashed on one end and not an extra box, just the one off the shelf, I thought uh-oh, it’s going to be broken. Nope, you could run over this baby with the car and it won’t be broken, it is strong metal. Heavy duty.It is less flexible than I had hoped and for my purpose using my serger sewing machine with all those loopers and needles to thread inside a dark crowded space, I need help seeing what’s what. But adjusting the lense to the proper distance and seeing the whole area requires a little moving around and this lamp fights me all the way. I might have been better off with a lighter weight option. This is my personal use, not the quality of the lamp. But if you need to see a larger area or different areas, you should know this.I have used it for about an hour and a half, so this is my first impression. I will have to modify my work area because the (minimum) reach of the lamp exceeds the size of my desk area. It doesn’t move easily higher and lower or forward and back. I hope I can get something worked out because this is a $100 lamp and I want to use it!I just used the brightness at maximum, there is not immediately apparent a control for the temperature of the light, just 4 levels of brightness in a cool LED color.If I was doing something like bench soldering with this with no adjustments, I would be very happy with the steadiness it offers.

Title: Great Lamp
Review: I’ve been using this lamp for awhile now. It has several light settings. I primarily use the brightest setting, but the low light is nice for night time use. I love the magnifying lens, but if you’re working with a tool, it sometimes doesn’t give you enough room to both see and use the tool at the same time. That could also just be because of my eyesight, not a flaw in the lamp itself. It’s lightweight and the clamp stays put.

Title: So much nicer than the old fluorescent lights
Review: The new LED types are so much nicer than the old fluorescent models. Just get a new one and pitch out the old model. The magnifying lens is clear and bright. Love it.
