Title: Versatile Digital Microscope for Coins, Electronics, and Close-Up Work
Review: This device can be very useful for anyone who needs hands-free magnification. It’s clearly aimed at coin inspection, and it does a good job with that. The still images and video it captures look sharp when the unit is stable, and the included remote is essential because touching the device directly will cause movement and blur. There are a few design issues worth noting. The plastic collar that lets the barrel rotate smoothly is easy to shift out of place if the thumb screws are tightened too much. At higher magnifications any movement becomes a problem, so this should have been sturdier. The articulating arm isn’t very substantial either, so mounting it to a solid table edge with the C-clamp is important if you want clean, steady images. The translucent cap on the end of the barrel falls off very easily; a couple small dots of glue may be the only way to keep it in place. The software is basic and could use some polish, but it is usable. On the positive side, the lighting options are good. The LEDs on the barrel work well at close distances, and the 56-LED ring light helps when the device is raised or zoomed out. The 10.1 inch IPS display is bright and easy to work with. When connected to my PC, the microscope was recognized instantly as a standard USB camera and worked in the Windows Camera app without needing any drivers.Kids will likely find it fun for exploring leaves and other small objects, and adults will appreciate it for coins, electronics, or soldering work. Overall, it’s a capable tool with a few avoidable design flaws, but still functional for close-up inspection if you take the time to stabilize it properly.

Title: Probably not the best for soldering but not a bad device.
Review: Does a good job at magnifying however I was hoping it would help me with soldering SMD’s but the angle and the magnification seemed to get in the way. It would be great if you want to just examine something like a coin or stamp. The ring light, that looked like was made for some other device, was useless as it cast a light ring on the image. I did just fine with my workshop overhead lights and no ring light.Flexibility of the articulating are was somewhat limited because of being shorter than needed. A small allen wrench was included with no instructions of what to do with it. It turns out that the camera holder on the end of the arm can be adjusted or flipped over, which is what I did to get better adjustment from the camera. Overall the instructions were limited to poor but you can make you way through.

Title: Good kit for a maker
Review: This made a very easy to use and highly sought after upgrade to our circuit lab. Functionality is high magnification is great picture quality is beyond what I expected and overall, I’m very thankful for the ease of use and how helpful it has been when working on small circuits and small mechanical parts. Brightness on the screen is good as well as the illuminating LEDs.

Title: Bad light design
Review: Great screen and camera, but the light isn’t built for it, it fit sloppy.

Title: Great for the workbench.
Review: Love having this on the workbench. It’s high quality and built well. It’s super easy to use and the large 10” LCD has good enough picture quality. It focuses well and is great for soldering or painting the tiny details on a model. Good value.

Title: Light and Portable LCD Digital Microscope
Review: The LCD digital microscope has been very useful for looking at electronic boards and fluidic channels. The set up was easy and intuitive. The microscope comes with an extra LED ring light with its own power cord. The brightness of the extra LED ring light is also adjustable. The arm height can be adjusted, the monitor can rotate, and the screen can be rotated and adjusted up and down. The LCD microscope works with a focus mechanism rather than focus and zoom mechanism compared to other stereoscopes. The advantage of this LCD microscope is that it is easy to assemble and transport.

Title: Soldering microscope
Review: I do a lot of electronics work and this was a nice upgrade from my previous microscope that was on a more rigid mount.
