Title: Ensure you connect the correct wires to the correct inputs on your gate controller!
Review: Ease of installation. Don’t dislike anything. I even like the audible tone when a vehicle passes over it.I replaced a fried loop detector with this one, most inexpensive I could find, and I am THRILLED with its performance!I connected all the wires to the correct inputs on this unit and it’s output to the “Exit” input on my gate controller. Drove the van over there and the unit made an audible noise while the van was on the loop, then my gate opened! Works great! 👍

Title: WOW – Works Perfectly
Review: I was skeptical about this item at first. Installed in my garage and connected to an existing loop that I had buried a few years back when we re-did the driveway. Loop is 2 turns inside of plastic concrete, under dirt and rock. I connected the loop, applied 12DC power, and Voila – perfect detection. Tried smaller car like and 2 different trucks, all detected perfectly using default settings..!!!

Review: I have been completely unable to contact the manufacturer.The website listed on the manual is AmazingBeam.com but this is just a 404 error. The website hasn’t been set up.The website molded into the device case is CentSys.co.za and while that dies reach a plausible website, there is no reference to this device, an LD1 loop detector.No phone numbers listed or printed anywhere.No company name or manufacturer name printed anywhere.So it seems to be a great product with no support behind it.

Title: Works perfect!!!
Review: I use this for an exit sensor on my driveway gate and it works perfectly every time without fault. The settings are easy to use and the loop is easy to design and install. I installed mine into a 6×6 PVC enclosure and powered it from the 12V battery in my gate controller box. I chose heavy duty 12 AWG THHN stranded cable to make the loop and lead-in cable.

Review: Bought 6 months ago. Worked good . Stopped working yesterday for no reason. 65 dollars out the window. This detector is from south Africa and they don’t stand behind their product . Please don’t wast your money on this junk detector. You’ve been warned .

Review: Awesome product, performed great, easy to install, lots of features and a very good price. The shipping was horrible, ordered it expedited shipping and paid $44.00 to have it delivered as soon as possible. The product showed up 2 weeks later, you have to remember that the part is only the size of a deck of cards and weighs about 2 ounces. Trying to get my $44.00 back from the horrible service is tasking.

Review: Unit install was easy and works great. Only issue I have is when the power goes out which happens very often here, the loop detector triggers the gate to open when the power returns.
