Title: If it’s LUFF … Buy It!!
Review: Over the years I’ve purchased several different things from Luff and I gotta say that everything I’ve ever bought with that brand on it Has served me well. I would recommend anything that you are thinking about buying from Luff that you go ahead and purchase it. There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that the quality and value for your money is there No matter what the product that they are supplying. No I don’t work for Luff I just happened to have been treated well by their products. The quality and high value in my opinion it’s just something that you rarely see anymore!!!

Title: Fairly decent and effective, despite the grossly inaccurate description
Review: The item descriptions are completely wrong: I ordered the “1.5x” _magnification_ version and received what was clearly marked as “+1.50” _diopters_ (which corresponds to 1.375x magnification). This is close enough for reading glasses that I decided not to return them.Presumably the “2.0x” magnification version (which would correspond to +4.0 diopters) is actually +2..0 diopters (which would correspond to 1.5x magnification), far more ordinary for reading glasses. These go up to a “4.0x” magnification version (which would correspond to +12.0 diopters), which is impossible as the resulting lenses would be too thick to wear.While ‘1.0x” magnification would be 0.0 diopters (no magnification, optically flat), I suspect that version is really +1.0 diopters (1.25x magnification).The conversion formula is M = (D × 0.25) + 1 where M is the magnification and D is the diopter equivalent (assuming a reference distance of 0.25m).I originally ordered the “2.0x” magnification version, but received instead thin plastic clip-on sunglasses that were optically flat with no magnification at all, so these were immediately returned for a prompt refund. The “1.5x” magnification version, which turned out to be +1.5 diopters instead, were otherwise as advertised, working well as reading glasses clipped onto regular eyeglasses.Unlike most other such clip-on reading lenses, these have a thin wire-rim frame that adds to their durability and make them much easier to hold for cleaning. While others noted that they weigh more than lenses without a thin frame, my opinion is that the trade-off of the slightly heavier weight is worth it.The $24 price for two pair of well-made clip-on reading glasses including hard plastic protective cases is as good as I’ve found for wire-rim frame versions, although twice as much as other unframed versions.I would give more than a 3-star rating if I had not had so much trouble ordering, including the need to return the incorrectly shipped totally wrong item, and the item description were not inaccurate about optical properties

Title: Much nicer than most
Review: These work great, as expected. But what differentiate them is that they actually look good. Lenses are attractively framed and the mechanism at the bridge is clear rather than black like most others. Highly recommend.

Review: Description says this is for a 2-pack but I only received one pair of the clip-ons with one case and no cleaning cloth. Glad my order was returnable. Also, the clip-on seemed too heavy for me.

Title: Well made lenses
Review: I use these lenses for needlework—cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, etc.. The lenses are very well made. And like they are available in white. The lenses are made of glass which makes it a bit heavy. But I think the overall quality makes up for it.

Title: Just what I needed
Review: These just arrived, so I don’t yet know how sturdy they will be. Others who have bought clip on glasses of this type have noted problems with durability. These look just fine, and each of the two pairs came in very nice little slim, hard case with cleaning cloths! I will be wearing them over my prescription glasses, for Zoom meetings/classes, where the distance was wrong for me to see things in focus on my laptop screen. I needed readers, but they needed to go over my regular glasses. These do it!

Title: These work, but are weighty
Review: I ordered these because working on my computer at home and at work is now at just the right distance where it’s too far for no glasses, but too close with my classes. I got these as a sort of reading glasses substitute. And for that, they work really really well. However, even though on their own, they are not heavy, when i clip them to my glasses, it makes my glasses really dig into my nose. I have to take my glasses off a lot more to avoid the extra weight giving me a headache. If they were a bit lighter, it would be a 5 star rating from me.
