Title: Love them, very happy with purchase
Review: UPDATE: I’ve had them about a week, still very happy with them. I have noticed the left one tends to have quite a bit of feedback but that I have the volume about mid range on that one. I have tried different domes, etc turning down the treble (brightness) has helped some, and its not super horrible. Once had phone calls only come through one ear, I found if you turn BT on/off on your phone that fixes the problem right away. These still really suck when it comes to music lol, but I have never had a hearing aid that has done well in that area. But overall I am SUPER happy with them, my other hearing aids I could not hear anyone in a noisy environment. Yesterday it was super windy and I was by heavy traffic lots of semi’s, even a few sirens, etc and I could still clearly hear the 2 people I was talking to, that is a first for me. Only hearing aid so far I would definitely buy again. And, so far the battery seems to be lasting quite awhile, I haven’t had to change them yet. I’m sure by today or tomorrow I will but still, not bad!————————————————————-original review:I just got these today. I will probably update review in a month or so to see how they are working by then, but I have nothing but praise for these so far.MY BACKGROUND: I am in my 40s and have been hearing impaired since I was a little kid. I grew up with “medical grade” hearing aids. In my adult life I didn’t have $$$ to spend on medical grade kind, so when “hearing aids” were allowed to be sold OTC I started trying different ones (and yes I know most of them are just “amplifiers even if they say “hearing aids”). I purchased a couple of $200-300 brands here off amazon, the first pair I tried had too much noise cancelation, so when someone would talk to me, it would actually cancel their voice out or cut in/out regardless of what setting I had them on. I used them for about 5 months, but when they stopped charging correctly, I tried another brand that is fairly popular right now. I liked the 2nd pair ok and had them for about 6 mo before one started not charging properly, then stopped working all together. I sent it back as it was under warranty, only to have the other one also stop charging. As nice as it is to have rechargable hearing aids, I was DONE with that. I can’t afford $2-300 bucks every 6 months when they stop charging properly. So I started searching for battery hearing aids and came across these.SOUND: So when I got them, I only put one in initially as like another reviewer, I tend to prefer only hearing aid. The sound was decent, about the same as my other pair of hearing aids. Just to test it out tho, I put the other one in. OMG! Maybe its because I’ve never had bluetooth hearing aids before, I dunno. But I was amazed, the hearing aids seem to work together to create more of a surround sound, i can precisely make out where a sound is coming from. Normally when you wear hearing aids even if they have directional microphones, they are still working “independently”, its like a split sound somewhat. I never even noticed that was an issue till I used these, they work “together” and form a “surround sound effect”, so that its closer to what natural hearing would be like.I was on my way out to errands so I hadn’t even downloaded the app yet I left the house and went to the store, when the clerk talked to me at the store and I could actually clearly hear what he said, I was stunned, even with my other hearing aids I often had to read lips most of the time. I’m not an emotional person at all, but I almost cried on my way back out to the car. I did a few other errands and they were still wonderful. At one store a motorcycle started up right next to me and I thought “ok, this is gonna be a big test” and they did great with that too, I wasn’t overwhelmed by the loudness of the bike.I had to use my cellphone at the store (before I installed the app) and they were fine when I held the phone up to my ear, no feedback, and I could hear the person on the phone fine. When I got home I played around with the app some, I had someone whisper and tried it in whisper mode, I could hear them! I did try music mode and tried playing my piano as that is a seriously hard task for most hearing aids to be any good at, at least the ones I’ve used, it did have some feedback no matter how softly I played but it wasn’t horrible. I tried listening to music on the pc and it was fine, it would feedback occasionally but nothing terrible.Anyone who has worn HAs for a long time can tell you they will never replace your natural hearing, but out of all the ones I’ve worn in my life, this is the close I think I’ve ever been to “real” hearing. I’m sure the $3-5k ones are better, but for $200 bucks, these are wonderful. With my other HAs my voice would often “boom” to myself (as any HA wearing person knows, this is an annoying issue of wearing HAs). However, I have not at all had that problem with these regardless if I use the open or closed domes. When I first put them in, my voice sounded very robotic. Its going to take time to get used to any hearing aid, and within about 30 min, that went away and I sounded fine to myself.Another shocker was water, usually HAs sound really weird with water, I’m not sure why but often the HAs will cut in/out or sound garbled or make the water sound really loud, these did not do that.FIT: It will take a a times of putting them in and taking them out to get a good feel for how they should be worn. As some others said, I felt like the tube was “too short” when I first used them and I am used to that kind of tubing, but I found it had alot to do with how I placed them, and what dome I used and now they seem fine. Also, the domes stay on nice and tight, anyone who has had a dome come off in their ear knows thats not a fun experience especially if you can’t get it out on your own, these feel very secure (infact they’re kinda hard to get off lol) so I’m not as worried about them coming off in my ear as some other brands I’ve had in the past.SIZE: They are ALOT smaller than what they look like in the pictures. I remember when I ordered them I kinda dreaded that part as I figured they were going to look huge like the ones out of the 1980s lol but I wanted functionality over looks so I ordered them. I was surprised when I opened the box to see how small they are, very discreet, and no issues wearing them with glasses.BLUETOOTH: 1st time they tried to pair to phone it failed and the directions on the phone asked me to them off, and back on again so I did and it paired just fine after that. On my other hearing aids it was actually kinda hard to hear a any difference on any of the mode settings, this one you can tell the difference. For instance, I turned the tv on and had it to my back, and then had someone sit infront of me and start talking while the tv was at the same volume as their voice was, when I put the HAs in restaurant mode, they significantly cut down on the sound of the tv, and focused more on the person infront of me. My other HAs really struggled in that area. I made a few calls via bluetooth and listened to songs from YT as well. The call was clear, the music on YT sounded a bit “far away” but was still clear.VALUE: If these last awhile I think they will be an awesome value. Another reason I ordered them is I’m outside alot, so dirt and moisture is a real issue. These said they are IP67 (or something like that) so they are supposed to be more resistant to that type of stuff. Time will tell on that one.I am over the moon happy with these. Are they perfect? Probably not, I still miss a few things here and there someone says but without HAs with someone talking at a normal level in a quiet room, I can’t hear anything they are saying if they are on the side of me, if i sit directly infront of them and lean in I can hear about 20% of what they say, if I’m someplace like a restaurant without HAs I 100% have to read lips. With my last 2 pairs, I could hear 60% of what someone said in quiet room, but in a restaurant setting I could hear maybe 25% With these in a quiet room I can hear about 95% of what someone is saying, I haven’t tried them at a restaurant setting yet, but I did go to walmart today and I was able to hear the 2 cashiers i talked with without a problem (normally even with hearing aids I have to lean way over the counter and say “huh” a million times till I get what they say lol).

Title: Good sound and very discreet for OTC hearing aids
Review: This item is a pair of wireless over the counter (OTC) hearing aids. As someone experiencing mild hearing loss, I’ve been exploring OTC hearing aid options. These wireless bluetooth hearing aids caught my attention with their wireless connectivity, noise reduction, and price point option. This hearing aid is remarkably small and discreet. They fit comfortably behind my ear and are nearly invisible, which is a significant plus. The packaging is professional, and included accessories, like various ear tips and a cleaning kit. The package also includes extra batteries and a small case to hold the aid devices. I’m not fond of the replaceable batteries which are a inconvenience. I would prefer rechargeable batteries that are replaceable. You can get rechargeable 312 batteries for this, and that is great, but you still need to remove the batteries from the units to recharge. The sound quality is surprisingly clear and natural. The noise reduction feature effectively filters out background noise, making conversations much easier to follow. I particularly appreciate the ability to stream calls directly from my android phone via bluetooth. This hands-free functionality is incredibly convenient, but shortens the life of the batteries. The setup process was straightforward, and the instructions were clear. I found it took me a bit of time to get the configuration just right for me. The controls on the hearing aids themselves are intuitive, allowing for easy volume adjustment and mode selection. I’ve been using these hearing aids for several weeks now, and I’ve clearly noticed a significant improvement in my ability to hear conversations better in various environments, especially in noisy ones. The sound is balanced and doesn’t feel overly amplified or artificial. They in fact make me stop saying “can you repeat that” all the time. I find the price point to be reasonable given the features included with these hearing aids. Overall, I feel these OTC hearing aids are a great option for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss especially those who have limited funds available. The discreet design, clear sound quality, and bluetooth connectivity make them a practical and user-friendly choice.

Title: Outstanding customer support for an outstanding product
Review: If I could give this company and the product 10 stars, I would. They take customer support seriously. They are passionate about their product and compassionate toward their customers. I’ve spent a long time trying to deal with my hearing loss and Sonify has been the pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. The product quality is high and the value is exceptional. Whether you’ve warn hearing aids for years or are new to them, you’ll be happy to know Sonify. If you’re new to hearing aids, do not expect to put them on and go back to the time when your hearing was great. It will require some effort to understand the process. It will be worth it. I had difficulty understanding what people were saying in meetings. I can now go to a doctor’s appointment and understand what’s being said. I say “what?” far less. The mobile app is intuitive and helpful. If you’re not tech savvy, you may need someone to help you. This is the only brand I know of that provides microphones for Android and at an excellent price. That means that you can answer your phone as if you’re wearing you earbuds — truly hands-free. I guarantee you will be happy to deal with Sonify.
