Review: Pros: excellent design, materials, fit and finish; very smooth action in the flip mechanism; optics polished and shaped to a fair thee well; confidence-instilling and promising of becoming second nature in their moment by moment deployment; shipping direct (via USPS) from VS-Eyeware arrived almost a week prior to eta. Price: inconsequential. Production: bittersweet but likely from a Chinese maker well chosen for high capability and delivery.Cons: ZeroWhat I liked best about shopping for lenses to augment my distance scrip in everyday, computer and professional shop close-in work, and finding Magni-Flip in 2x iteration, was the way they advertised on Amazon. This is a larger subject, not limited to any kind of product category. If you’re like me (and I know I am) the commitment to shop online means I’ve been willing to forego the paradigm of personal contact with the item for sale prior to purchase. We’re relying, out here, on a complex, implicit agreement with multiple players, that we can first ascertain a likely choice on best received information, second, with the option of returning items that flub the acid test. The process takes longer (assuming there’s a store out there to visit), but the experience is richer, since we get to stay at home and review a number of collated contenders. All this is just fine, except when and where we have to slog through a bunch of dumb, numbing product pages. This is the crux of my point, today. Vendors — obviously hoping to attract buyers — ought to get the message that it matters hugely, how one’s product is presented for review. I can’t pretend to know how it works in the background, but I’m telling you: if you’re thinking of selling on Amazon, be or hire a professional ad writer… one who has experience with Amazon. Take an example from Magni-Flip, and please, give us a break out here. Oh, and, make sure your product stands up to the description.

Title: High quality optics and construction, too heavy to be useful in active situations
Review: The build quality and optical quality of these lenses is very high. In this age of ultra cheap Asian products, these are a pleasant surprise, especially for the price.They also are well designed and easy to clip on and off.The reason I only gave three stars is due to the weight. These lenses fit very well on my glasses frames, but the weight they added made it difficult to keep my glasses on my nose. I have cheap WalMart frames (which have worked well for the last four years for me), but they will slip on my nose if I perspire a little bit. With these lenses attached to my glasses, the slippage happens much easier.I will be able to use them while at the computer, but I was hoping I could use them in more active situations, and that is not in the cards.

Title: Can finally see tape measure without having to change to readers.
Review: Perfect for my needs when on my computer or in the shop trying to read my measurements. These are large lenses so didn’t fit my smaller glasses exactly but just being able to read my tape measure and then flip them up for other work far out weighs this.
