Title: A Brilliant Magnifier
Review: I love this beautiful instrument. I always keep a magnifier right near my computer, because there’s always a phone number on the back of a debit/credit card, a serial number on a device, black raised plastic lettering on black plastic, and a host of little “user manuals” written in 6pt type to conserve paper, which are impossible to read by the unaided human eye. For years now, I’ve had a high-quality magnifier as part of my daily go-to tools. But not a lighted one. I had those little credit-card lighted magnifiers (the kind of magnifier you keep in your wallet), but though convenient, the optics stink and the light is too dim for any benefit.This magnifier is nothing like that, It’s brilliant. It has three LED lights that light your target brilliantly, two for the large magnifier lens, one for the extreme close-up loupe lens below it. The lenses are distortion-free and crystal clear.This magnifier works a charm. Took me a few minutes to get the batteries right, but once I did, I was overjoyed with my dramatically improved vision for the small, closeup things I seem to always run across. The light is extremely even, casts few shadows, and lasts a long, long, time, since the LEDs demand so little power from the batteries.This is one of those products that, once you try it, you can’t imagine how you live without it. I was given one in return for an honest review, and loved it so much, I’m about to place an order for a second one as a Christmas stocking-stuffer. You can’t go wrong with this wonderful magnifier, I recommend it without reservation!

Title: Blessing in Disguise, I would never be without now
Review: Such a small price for such a Wonderful item. I used this magnifier in so many ways. Reading at times, checking anything and everything out. Checking ingredients, Jewelry and just so many things even out of curiosity. The light is perfect, it is hand held and I plan on getting another one. This is the kind of glass you need in several rooms of your home for various reasons. Try at least one and if you don’t agree, so be it, but if you do, they are very cheap for their value.

Title: Pretty good glass and the light is very useful
Review: This a pretty good magnifying glass and it’s optically quite good (clear, sharp image–and I’m a picky photographer), but it’s not quite as powerful as I was hoping it might be. That’s not a flaw or anything, just an observation (partly of how old I’m getting, lol). It is strong, don’t get me wrong, but when it comes to tiny labels I things, I need more help. The light is a good idea and helps quite a bit–it’s very bright and the batteries are very convenient to change even someone with limited hand mobility could change them I think.Also, I’d forgotten that when I use a magnifying glass I pretty much have to look through one eye (left) and close the other. I find it a little bit annoying, but again, that’s just me, it’s no reflection on the product at all. I will say this has come in handy quite a few times and I’m glad that I bought it, but I think I’ll look for a larger and slightly stronger version and use them both as needed.The extra little 45x glass is not particularly useful so I rarely use it. If you absolutely had to see something tiny, I suppose it would be a help.Overall, it’s very nicely made and better than what I’ve seen locally in stores and that light makes it worth the price. Buy two if you can, these have a habit of wandering to another room when you’re not looking.

Title: 45x magnifier is useless
Review: Today I tried to use the 45 times magnifier and it prompted me to come write this review. The little magnifier above the switch on this thing shows what you are viewing, upside down and backwards! Yep, thats right, you can barely use it anyway for reading anything, but even what you can read is literally both upside down and backwards combined…I dont even know how that happens…but the magnifier I got does exactly that. I’ve never see that before!Why three stars even though that part is dysfunctional? Otherwise its a decent magnifier through the main lens. It has a great feel in the hand, the lights are bright and I really like that the light switch clicks and stays on with out having to hold it to stay on. I have another magnifier that requires you to hold the light switch to keep the lights on and its uncomfortable if you need to use it for any length of time to have to keep your thumb on the switch. This magnifier doesn’t have that issueI would not recommend this magnifier for a lot of reading, like an entire newspaper or book, its just too small for that. I use it for fine print my eyes cant read anymore, like on packaging, etc. The text on packaging and instructions is increasingly smaller and smaller these days it seems…or my eyes are just getting worse…or both
