Review: It does magnify. It is in good condition upon arrival. But it either doesn’t actually magnify objects to 10x, or more likely, 10x magnification is not quite as big as I would have hoped. Overall it will work for my 4 year old to use for fun in our yard watching bugs etc. It looks like wood in the pictures but it is actually plastic… the description says it is plastic, so I should have noticed that before buying. I thought it was wooden.
