Title: Good general magnifier
Review: A few positive things. The overall magnifier performs its job well with good clarity and the higher magnification (if you need to get up close and personal with your target) is useful but not ideal versus a specifically designed tool. The higher magnification is not ideal as it requires you to bring the magnifier close to your face and the size gets in the way.The light source is designed well as it provides illumination without glare which is the risk when looking at things up close. The push button to activate the light functions well but it is a hindrance to packing this for transport. I put this in a backpack and would often find I had inadvertently turned the light on so if you need this in a fixed location, no worries, if you need to transport its actually too easy to turn on the light.Rating is based on what it’s intended to do which is provide magnification with a built in 10X capability.
