Review: Five stars because the magnifying glass’ fit, finish and function are as advertised, but…I’m a doorman/bouncer and I use it to help check IDs. Within that context, I’d like to see either a more powerful UV LED (but still at 365 nm) or a similar, second UV LED added (I’m not familiar with the particulars of electromagnetism, so I don’t know if “365 nm but more powerful” is even a thing) and I’d like to see the “off” position moved from the center position of the three position power switch to either the top or bottom position of the power switch so that it’s less likely that the ring of white LEDs (top position, presently) or the single UV LED (bottom position, presently) can be inadvertently turned on if the magnifying glass is placed in a pocket, which is where I keep it when not using it.

Title: Clear Vision
Review: I purchased this for my dad. The different light settings helps especially because he doesn’t like the overhead light on in his living room. It’s light weight and comfortable to hold. You just have to remember to pull the clear protection film off on both sides because he couldn’t figure out why it was blurry.

Review: This is generally a very nice magnifying glass. I like that it has multiple levels of magnification that you can use. It also has a very nice light that illuminates whatever you’re looking at. The size and weight is very nice as well. As I age and my eyes get worse, this is a very handy thing to have around.It is a little bit expensive, a little more than I would expect to pay for a magnifying glass. I’m not sure what the UV light is for, and as you can see in the video, mine is flashing, so there must be a short in it somewhere. I’m a little disappointed with this. But honestly, I don’t have much use for a UV light on a magnifying glass at home. If I were looking for a foreign object in someone’s eye with some fluorescent dye, it would be a very handy function. I would also prefer it to be USB rechargeable, rather than using AAA batteries.

Review: This handheld magnifying glass does magnify, although the curvature of the lens makes it hard to see more than one small spot on the page, despite the lens being large. The biggest problem is that this purports to be a lighted magnifying glass, but is very sporadic and flickers on and off. The item requires 3 AAA batteries. The bottom battery fits tightly into the battery compartment, but the compartment is too big for the top two batteries, so the contact is spotty. I tried extending the contact springs slightly to see if the batteries would fit correctly, without success. Overall: poorly designed and does not function well.

Die 30 LEDs sorgen für ausreichend Licht, was gerade bei schlechter Beleuchtung praktisch ist, und die zwei Lichtmodi sind im Alltag sinnvoll. Verarbeitung wirkt ordentlich und die Lupe macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist das etwas höhere Gewicht, wodurch sie bei längerer Nutzung etwas anstrengend werden kann. Insgesamt aber eine solide Hilfe für Lesen, Hobbys oder genaues Nachschauen.
