Review: At first, I was pleased with the purchase of the magnifying screen, however over the months, the screen seems to be harder to see, like it is distorted when viewing through the lens. Not sure what or why it has happened, but it is so hard to use, that I quit using it in favor of downloading a magnifying glass on phone screen. Again, not sure why it became distorted with use, but it has.

Title: It’s perfect for someone with vision issues
Review: I ordered this to be sent to my sister who has advanced Macular Degeneration in both eyes. Her close up vision is very poor and she is unable to read any small print. This viewer has been a game changer for her!! She is able to read her prescription bottles, she can now read a book, which she hasn’t been able to do for years and she’s really missed doing that most of all. I am so happy that it is helping her so much and has opened up her world in that respect. It is easy for her to use. Very pleased with this purchase. If you or someone you know has a vision issue with reading small print or doing something where you need to see clearly up close, don’t hesitate to order this viewer. My sister said the viewing area is clear and the different light settings are a great feature. The stand makes it easy to use hands free.

Review: My husband collects stamps. It’s perfect for him when he’s looking at them. He has wet MD and it helps him immensely. The fact that it’s on a stand is great because it keeps both hands free to work with the stamps.I also have the one that isn’t on a stand and I love that one also.

Title: Overall helpful with some cons
Review: I needed a magnifying gadget to do my manicures with. The pros are that light is good enough for this purpose, and the magnification area is wide enough for manicure or book etc… The stand works nice and is study, and the ability to take the magnification part out so you can hold in your hand is nice. The two cons I have noticed is that the magnification plastic catches dust, including the dust omitted if you file your nails with an electric file. And it’s not easy to brush off with a micro towel or swatch. The other con is that it can be hard some when when on the stand to find the stop where it’s not blurry. When you hold the magnification part in your hand it’s easy to move it back and forth from your face to find the spot that works for you, but it’s harder to do that when you have to move your hand or an object under the stand to find the sweet spot. Overall this was definitely a good purchase and I use it every time I do my nail or need it for something else. The light isn’t really bright but I can add another light source when needed. It’s a great gadget and can be very helpful when you need magnification, especially when traveling as the product is really light and come with a silky bag.

Review: It works but wish the surface is not reflective. If you have a light over your head, the surface will actually reflect that overhead light and that affects visibiity. Overall, satisfied with the product.

Review: The whole is light weight and easy to handle, but it’s just a bit small. You cannot fit a normal size book between the two stand legs. I usually read books on my book stand, I cannot stabilize this magnifier on the stand, so I decided to return it. It costed me $25!!!! For shipping it back!!!

Review: I am surprised this has favourable reviews at all. My 88 year old mother couldn’t use it at all and, frankly, even I struggled.Flimsy stand construction makes height adjustment almost impossible as the stand frame flexes so much from side to side, one needs three hands to support it when making adjustments. Imagine having liquorice for a steering wheel in a car and you get some idea.It also uses a Fresnel lens. So rather than being convex, the lens is ribbed to create the magnification. Apart from being almost impossible to keep clean (dust and finger marks collect between the ribbing) this design is really to amplify light sources like old style car headlights and light houses. The quality of image was never intended for use as a visual aid and whilst for some it may work, the design magnification is very sensitive to viewing angle and perpendicularity to the viewed object. An infirm individual has no chance. I never saw anywhere near 5X magnification. But if you’re dexterous and have moderate vision, it may work for you. I make no judgement on the price, it is what it is and it is quite a lot.
