Title: Great Product at a Great Price.
Review: The item was delivered quickly to me and to my friend. I had one sent to me and one to my friend that has macular degeneration. When I saw the product I thought, this would work great for my sewing and craft painting. Then I read about a lady with macular degeneration (from a review on file) that had gotten this item and how much it had helped her. I immediately thought about my friend.My friend has thanked me twice for this item. In the last thank you she said: I just wanted to update you on how much I am enjoying my special gift. It has been so much easier to cook, when I can actually see what’s in the pot. So far I have been able to tell when my bacon was done and when the ground beef was done. I can’t explain the difference. Just know that every time I wear those glasses, I think of you and thank you all over again.She was having to hold a flashlight and a magnifier to be able to cook, now she just puts on the glasses with the light and magnifier lenses and she is cooking.I love mine too. I made some masks for myself and husband to protect us against coved-19, I needed to make some adjustments, but could not see my stiches. I put the magnifier glasses on, turned on the light and wa-la I was able to easily remove the stiches and continue the adjustments.What a Great Product as such a Great Price. Thank you.

Title: Such a deal!
Review: I’m a miniaturist and while I have good eyes and lots of magnifiers, I want to try 1:12 scale needlepoint on 40 stitches to the inch silk gauze. Needless to say, that calls for major enlargement. I was so surprised when this set arrived. It is totally awesome. The quality is outstanding and while I can’t imagine anyone would ever use the highest power insert, the others will be vital to my projects. I noticed no distortion and they fit right over my glasses which is important since I have monovision and need my glasses before magnification. Add to this an amazingly low price and you can’t go wrong. My only worry is that they might prove heavy if I wear them for long periods of time. Hopefully that won’t be a problem.

Title: Great product but I can’t use it
Review: My husband purchased this for me to aid me in my stitching. We thought it would work well because it said it can be used with glasses. After trying for a few days to use it here’s what I found. The frame is so light weight you barely feel like you’re wearing them although adding the 3 AAA batteries does add to the weight. The lenses are super ease to attach and detach from the frame and come in a well made, sturdy storage box that will clearly hold up to a reasonable amount of use. The light was strong and well directed for what I needed. On the down side, the frame did not fit easily over my regular glasses, not too badly, but it put the magnification lenses at a slightly off-horizontal angle. This was easy to adjust, but I needed to do that several times during each of my sessions using them, not really a problem, just a bit of an annoyance. The big problem for me is this: I wear bifocals, not regular lenses. The compact size of the magnification lenses, and where they ended up on my face while wearing the head frame left me looking through the lenses with the upper part of my bifocals, the part I look through for distance, not close up. This was quite disorienting for me and left me with eye strain headaches after using them for a very short time. The end result, I can’t use them myself. The up side? My husband, who can get by using drug store cheaters for glasses, CAN use the magnifier visor quite comfortably for painting miniatures and because they are so light weight and compact, he can pack them with his small hobby box that he takes with him when he travels for work to use in the hotel room at night. So overall , this is a terrific product and a good purchase for us, just not in the way we expected.

Title: AMAZING!! Jewelers/metalsmiths/hobbyists; throw out your optivisor!
Review: I honestly bought this with low expectations, but it’s truly the best $15 I’ve ever spent. I’ll also preface this by saying I bought these on my own, & I’ve not been paid or coerced to write this review. Reviews help me make decisions, so I thought I’d offer that back in case it helps someone like me.I was previously using a popular “optivisor” used a lot by jewelers & hobbyists. I was tube setting a 2mm stone using a 2.75X lens in the hope that I could work with even smaller stones and still see details as I cut the seat. The entire time I was so frustrated because my field of view was about 2” instead of 6”. Even with that, I could never get my view to focus as well as I wanted to & and it took so much longer to finish because of it. I wondered if there was something about me, as if maybe I wasn’t wearing it right…but there’s only one way to wear it, & I also chatted with support from my supplier, to no avail….So, I tried this.It was inexpensive and worth the shot if it also ended up not being better. To my absolute surprise it IS SO MUCH BETTER!!1. The ability to slide the lens forward and backward allowed my eyes to fully focus the way I couldn’t with the optivisor.2. This also came with 5 lenses, all of which are very well made and of high quality, which really impressed me. The view is much more clear & crisp than what I was using, they come in a nice case, and will all receive lots of use. That alone is an incredible value in and of itself.3. The led light is a very bright white which I really appreciate. It’s very nicely diffused, so there’s no glare on the metal (for what I’m doing) that would normally create glare, “blind” me, & prevent being able to see what I’m doing. White light is also much easier on the eyes than soft yellow…to me at least.4. The placement of the nose piece is very comfortable and nice. I find I can minorly adjust how it sits, while still being able to sit the nose piece higher up or lower down on my nose. So whatever is more comfortable for you. It’s covered in a rubber/silicone type material with teeny little nubs to keep it from sliding. If you sweat easily while you work, I’m unsure how it will hold up, but it can sit up very close to the eyes, comfortably, where sweat may be less profuse.5. I appreciate the adjustability of the angle of the light to match the amount of natural light I have at the moment or what I’m working on; if more broad or focused light is needed.6. The lenses are very easy to just pop in and pull out.7. The only con I have, is that the ear pieces were difficult to pop out. The strap is super easy to put in and adjust once those are off, though. I did find I had to place the ear piece on the edge of a table, for stability, and use the end of a pen to get more leverage to press down on the tab that releases the ear piece. It was easy when I did that, though, They came right out.All in all, I will recommend these to everyone with a want or need for something like this and absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to buy again or as gifts. I find a take care of these like it’s a much more expensive item. Don’t hesitate, BUY THEM!!!
