Title: BEST MAGNIFIER EVER! – But the on/off wheel can be fragile
Review: UPDATE – JANUARY 24, 2022After about 9 months of occasional use, the little wheel that turns the light on & off has stopped working, so the light is always on. I suppose this is better than having it off and not being able to turn it on, since it can still be charged, but I’d rather be able to turn it off.Further update – the charging port was also off-kilter, so I wasn’t able to recharge it either. HOWEVER, my husband was able to take the back of it off, re-position the charging port, and fix the on/off wheel. It is back up & 100% operational!Changing the stars from 5 to 4 though, because the assembly seems to be a bit fragile. Still love it though!There are so many good things about this magnifier that it’s difficult to know what to mention first.1. It’s lightweight for it’s size, and well-balanced between the handle and the magnifier area. This is really important for me, due to arthritis in my right hand.2. The light is controlled by a little wheel that is convenient to use your thumb (with your right hand). It’s all in one switch for on/off and brightness adjustment. Another plus for me.3. The actual glass area is about 2.5″ x 4.25″, so it is large enough to see quite a bit at one time. Pretty nice when you’re reading those tiny little cooking instructions on food packages!4. It charges quickly. I’ve only used it for short periods of time so far, so I can’t say how long a charge lasts, but after using for maybe an hour over a few days, it returned to full charge in about 15 minutes. I imagine the first time I forget to turn it off before putting it away, I’ll find out how long it takes to charge from completely dead.5. Customer service is very pro-active already, with questions I’ve had regarding this device. They are very responsive through Facebook Messenger.I highly recommend this magnifying glass.

Title: Second purchase of Magnipro Magnifier
Review: I bought this magnifier for my mom (93, with macular degeneration) a couple years ago, and got to see it in use when I visited her. Recently I lost my traditional magnifying glass from our kitchen and decided it would be helpful if I went ahead and got one with the rechargeable light for my own use.I’m very pleased with this magnifier. It is a nice size, the lens is very clear, the three light modes are an extra bonus, and the magnification is exactly what’s needed to see the micro print in instruction prayers and on medicine bottles. The magnifier feels like solid quality in my hand. I like that this is a local US company. With the reasonable price, this would actually make a nice gift for some friends.

Review: I got this magnifier so I could read the tiny print on the pill bottles and separate some of the tiny little pills that have markings on them that I can’t read anymore. It does that beautifully. Do you know that some pill bottles have only the generic name on the outside, but in tiny print under it, they Have the popular name? This magnifier allows you to see both easily. The light is helpful, but what I find the most helpful is the size shape in the amount of magnification.Six times magnification is perfect for sorting my weekly pills. I am so glad to have a product just like this.

Title: Amazing bright light and magnification
Review: Just received my Magnipros rechargeable magnifier. The lighting provided by the unit should enhance the readability of magnified text. It’s lightweight, fits my hand well, and appears very sturdy. I like the protective pouch that came with the unit. I like that this is rechargeable….doesn’t create battery waste. I look forward to using this to read books and papers that have become difficult to see because of vision issues.

Review: My Mum is 90 and the optician recommended a handheld reader to help with magazines and books. The brand recommended was over £60 but this seemed to offer the same functionality and get good reviews.I can confirm it is very good and does the job well. The lights are particularly good in dim conditions and the magnification is useful. A lower-cost alternative to the expensive (German?) brand that works just as well.
