Title: It’s alright
Review: The length was perfect for my apartment size I did not measure the height which it was smaller than I expected but that was my own fault for not measuring and I’m personally just going to try swapping out the legs to something taller. It is not full comfy cushions. If you want the plump look def could add filling as there is zippers in the cushions to add or remove the fluff. For the price it was ok. Super easy to put together. The color was perfect. To be honest if I would have seen it in person would I have bought it? No. But I did online and returning a big futon seems like a drag so I’ll just make it work.

Title: Eh, you get what you pay for.
Review: I waited to try it out before making a review. First glance – looks how described, easily assembled, and height/width was as expected. More long term this sofa is the most uncomfortable thing to lay on. When you lay it back and lay down you can feel the bar right in the middle and we wake up with the worst back pain from a nap. I didn’t really pay for this with the intention of buying more stuffing for the cushions, but I guess with the cheap price you get what you pay for. As far as back support goes, the back won’t click on the second setting, you get flat or straight up. Arm rests work good. After a month or two of use you can’t sit and adjust your seating without it sounding squeaky like it’s going to break. Again you get what you pay for.

Title: Caution
Review: I appreciate the style, size fabric and color of the futon sofa. But the fill/loft of the cushions was poor. The good news though is that the cushions are zippered and I was able to buy more polyfil ( not cheap) to plump them up. Now it’s actually comfortable. Downside, the manufacturer offers a so called upgraded version for a few more dollars but doesn’t specify what that means. I suspect it comes with more stuffing. Another problem I see is with the reliability of the mechanisms that allow you to raise and lower the back and arms–very fragile. And with arms up, there’s less seating room and probably easier to break. I decided to always leave the arms down. I havent yet used it as a short bed in its flat position. I would buy the insurance on this item, buy the upgraded version of the product, or don’t rely on its utility–especially for kids. Perfect size for my space.
