Title: Perfect for folks who need a light on at night, for any reason
Review: My son has numerous developmental difficulties and among them is a complete lack of language, so he can’t explain why this is so, but he started wanting to sleep with the light on about the same time he learned how to operate light switches – when he was about 5 – and he’s done it ever since then, with that giant ball of glare illuminating his room all night. Turn it off, and within a couple of hours, he’ll wake up, hop up, turn it right back on, and go back to sleep.Well, this light has been a game changer.Now he is perfectly content to sleep with the night light, yet if we need a full light in his room, we can get that with the flip of a switch – literally, when you flip the wall switch off and right back on, the light alternates from night light to standard light and back again.But the engineers of this gem weren’t done yet. As long as you leave the light off for at least half a minute or so when you switch it off, the next time you turn it on (which might be hours later) it returns to the mode you last used – it doesn’t switch modes unless the off/on cycle time is quick. So for days, this thing has been in night light mode only, every time we turned it on, which has been great. He’s clever enough to understand light switches changing modes – the living room lamps do this, from the single standard wall switch control, and he’s figured out how to change nodes – but he’s been content with the dimmer, calmer night light even when playing.With a normal light switch, you can’t further adjust the brightness (beyond the night light/standard light difference, which is very different), and we didn’t need that. I passed by fancier lights because this does precisely what I wanted, and it’s impossible to set it wrong… it just works… but… if you add a compatible dimmer switch on the wall, this light can be safely dimmed, if that’s what you need.It would be magnificent if this light had like a 50%/75%/100% setting where you could set the max brightness when you installed it, kind of like you can set the color temperature, but I’m satisfied with the way it works.The night light is no slacker – it’s still bright enough to read by, though your mom would probably tell you it’s too dim for that and you’re going to strain your eyes, so check with her.Overall, this thing also seems well-made, and designed for easy installation, including a small hanger strap so you can hang the fixture safely from the bracket while connecting the wires.And it has very nice, understated modern styling.

Title: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bright, slim, and easy to install
Review: I installed the Matane 12-inch LED flush mount in my hallway, and it looks great. The light is bright and evenly spread, and I love that you can change the color temperature to get the perfect tone for the room. Title: Pretty Good
Review: Using this light on my porch and it works well. I really like the up light in amber as a night light to keep my porch softly illuminated. The down light is EXTREMELY bright. I rarely use it but if you need to harness the sun, it’s there. I’m using it outdoors in Florida and so far it’s doing well in the humidity. I’ve had it about 5 months. We’ll see how it does long term, but it’s cheap enough not to be upset if it fails.

Title: Handy nightlight feature, longer life would be nice
Review: The nightlight feature is excellent, gives enough room light with a warm color without being too bright, aesthetically. It’s fun because it looks a bit like an eclipse on your ceiling.Adjustable color temperature on the main light is much appreciated, and the lighting is uniform over the full surface area.Very low profile, so this is particularly great for low ceilings.Installation is very easy, and I appreciate the hanging wire so the fixture is held in place while connections are made.It’s interesting that the nightlight and main light feature fail at the same time, I have this fixture in multiple rooms, and the unit in my stairwell sees heavy use over the last 18 months and it just died. Maybe that’s decent lifetime, since this probably saw at least six months of constant use on average.

Title: Very cool, simple and inexpensive.
Review: Very impressed with the dual lighting feature. I put it in out bathroom and it lets me have a nice low light effect for at night or a relaxing shower. But then I can turn it up to “normal” for cleaning or whatever. Casts a nice, even light and has a clean simple style. Installation was a breeze. It is impressive to see at this price point they even included a hanger wire to help aid installation. I have cursed many time while installing light fixtures wishing I had more than 2 hands, no problem here. I’ll bet it took me 5 minutes. What you get for the price is impressive.If I could change anything it would be the night light temp. While I truly hate any kind of light fixtures over 3000k in my home, the night light is super warm. If it were a touch cooler it would give a bit more of a lunar eclipse feel. But this is nitpicking a great fixture.

Title: Sleek, impressive, perfection!
Review: I have installed many light fixtures in my life. Trust me when I say: These are one of the best I’ve seen and definitely THE best for room lighting, leaving everyone else far behind, and for that price it’s even crazier!!!The LED light is STRONG, I think I speak for many of you who fond the yellow/2700K, but this 3000K with 2400lumens is like you’ve installed the sun in your room! But it gets even better… That “nigh mode” light? WAOOOW – This actually makes my soul feel so good when I switch to that mode in the late evening time – I kid you not! Your eyes literally get a lot more comfortable in this yellow-orange mood light. And with a dimmer switch (which I HIGHLY recommend for this because the main light is just strong! 2400LM = 200W incandescent!) – you’ll be ecstatic like I am.I can’t say enough good things about it! It is super easy to install, lightweight, flushes with the ceiling so nicely and so thin it gives this clean looks to the ceiling. It has a clip inside when you’ll be able to just hang the led, after you’ve screwed the upper plate in, which makes it so convenient to hook up the wires without worrying about the led falling off your hands etc.Let’s just put it this way: I bought one for my daughter’s room… and another 2 a week after for the other rooms. Okay? Good!
