Title: Great phone
Review: Got this phone for my elderly mother. The weight is perfect. More like the old phones. The volume control was a necessity. The volume control on her old phone was broken. It was either loud or off. The volume control on the handset is a plus. Her hearing is fine, but it’s a great feature. The red flashing light when the phone rings is a great feature for the hard of hearing. Appears to be a quality item. I have bought two or three phones in this style before, but they were very cheaply made. Others have complained about the two cords being different shades of red. I do not care. The phone so far is perfect. And she loves the red. She had a red desktop phone years ago and has wanted a new one for some time. She has Alzheimer’s and anything I can do for her to make her happy I will do. And this made her happy. Thank you so much for this great phone.Carole

Title: Basic phone that will get you by
Review: The first phone I received had a faulty speaker in the earpiece. The replacement worked, but everything about it feels cheap. There’s no heft to it, which makes it easy for the handset to be knocked off the hook. I had to figure out that the latch was reversible for desk vs wall hanging. I didn’t see any apparent directions for that. The audio is okay and leaves much to be desired. All in all, it’s a basic phone with larger buttons with a bit to be desired.

Title: Bought for hard-of-hearing parents – works well
Review: The handpiece stays hooked on when this is used as a wall mount, which is a relief. Some cheap wall mount phones do not say put. Audio clarity is very good, and the amplifier works well so that I can finally speak to older folks who need help with their hearing. Our conversations have been thankfully restored. I got this for my parents, and they rave about how easy it is to use, to see the handset numbers, and the clarity and volume. And they are not easy to please — ha ha — so it must really be doing the job. On the other end of a call with this phone, I hear very good quality audio from it.

Title: Accurate Description
Review: I don’t talk on my land line that much but when I do it is important to have a phone that works properly. So far, I am happy with this purchase. The description on the ordering page turned out to be accurate. The only “nit I can pick” is that I wouldn’t call the ring light “Super Bright”. Just bright is more accurate. And I love the color. I lived through the Cold War when country leaders had red “hot line” phones that automatically connected to their adversary. Now I have my own red hot line phone!

Review: It may be passee to have a landline but the upside is that you can buy so many neat and unique phones like this one. The colour is vibrant and all you need is an operating phone jack to start using it. One key feature is that you don’t need an electrical outlet, just the jack. This means that if the power goes out your phone still works. All the features associated with this phone work as described.
