Title: Hearing device
Review: This works really well. I bought it for my step dad who is very hard of hearing. My mom’s hearing was being affected by the TV as he had it so loud you couldn’t turn it up any higher even drowning out the Tv she was watching in the next room with the door shut! Now she says she cant hear the livingroom TV. She’s thanking me cause now they can communicate with out yelling and even having to repeat themselves. Thank you. Great product and it’s a steal at that price!

Title: Unusable
Review: Maybe I just got a bad one. Ordered for my mom because we just can’t afford the thousand dollar “real” hearing aids. Right out of the box, this has a constant “white noise” or static coming through the earpiece. This alone made it completely unusable. Even if that were not a factor, as with other reviews on these types of receivers, the voice of the person wearing it just overpowers anything else they might hear. Maybe okay for watching TV but not for participating in a conversation. Guess I’ll have to up my budget and keep shopping. BUt for us, this was a definite “NO.”

Title: Battery door broke leas than two months old
Review: A little battery door cracked after less than two months of use and I never really touched the battery when I helped my mom with this. I’m contacting the seller to see if they will replace it because it’s less than two months old, but Amazon won’t replace it because it’s more than one month old.

Review: Don’t buy it. If anything happens to the 2- pin headphones you’re screwed ! Can’t buy another one or like me I’m trying to buy a heavier cord. Don’t like flimsy one that comes with it.The sound quality is good. I have scar and nerve damage in both ears. I have had amplied hearing aids and can’t hear with them in my left ear at all! This I can hear for both ears. I like it to because you have 2 sets of connectors for use to use for one ear or both at same time. I just don’t like the flimsy connector cord. And discouraging you’ll never another cord to replace if these should go bad.

Title: Not what my dad needed…
Review: I got this device for my 84 year old dad. We did some testing together and he liked the design and that he was able to hear me clearly from across the room while I was speaking with a normal conversational voice. However, he quickly got frustrated when other noises were amplified as well, such as the rubbing of his shirt against the device clipped to his belt, his hand touching the device, etc. Like many other similar devices, this one may be useful for some other customers out there attending a conference or a religious service, I guess, but definitely not for my dad’s daily use.

Title: Great Voice Amplifier
Review: I purchased this voice amplifier for a friend who lost her hearing aids. The amplifiermade it possible for her to hear what people were saying to her and she was sovery happy. She has since ordered new hearing aids, but this device was deliveredin one day by Amazon, so it gave almost immediate help for a difficult situation.

Title: It really works great
Review: I have now had the opportunity to try this product in various areas. For me, it works wonderful. I use it in Church for the readings and sermon. I can now hear everything. I have used it in a live theater and can relax and enjoy the play without straining to hear the actors. It also worked great in a smaller meeting room where speakers are talking with no microphone. I use the sound setting to level 1.

Review: I bought these as I have noticed I need to have the TV sound on high which disturbs my Partner when we watch a program-I have adequate hearing to communicate and do not have problems in a shop environment- From the description I though these would be ideal for my needs- to use only when listening to the TV- I feel the item I received was not the one described in the advertisement– The battery size required and enclosed was different to the one described in the write up- The sound quality was very poor- After trying to use them with my TV I got a headache as I could not isolate the TV sound from the surrounding amplified noises in the house-The switches did not make any difference- But worst of all there was no instructions as to how to fit the ear buds- I could not fit the wires into the earbuds, they seemed to be for another instrument- Overall I cannot recommend these for the purpose I bought them for- I could not get this to work properly.- I returned mine the next day

Review: This is a great sized device and, when you can get it to work without whistling, is good. The switches are a bit fiddly for my mum as she has arthritis but not a problem as I just switch it on and off for her. However the catch on the battery compartment has snapped off and won’t hold the battery in. I’ve sellotaped it but it seems to whistle more like this. We purchased in January but didn’t start using it until March. I think for £27 I would expect at least 12 months usage.
