Title: Reliable, Easy to Use, and Perfect for Family Monitoring
Review: I’m extremely pleased with the Glucose Monitor Kit. It’s accurate, user-friendly, and comes with everything needed to get started—including 100 test strips and lancets, which is a huge value compared to other brands. The no-coding feature makes testing quick and hassle-free. Just insert a strip and go. The readings are fast and consistent, and the wider HCT range gives me confidence that it works well for different family members with varying needs. One feature I really appreciate is the 500-test memory storage. It’s great for tracking trends over time without having to manually log every reading. The screen is clear and easy to read, and the device itself feels sturdy and well-designed.Overall, this is an excellent glucose monitoring kit—accurate, easy to use, and cost-effective. I highly recommend it for personal use or for families who need a dependable, straightforward way to keep track of blood sugar levels.

Title: Great value and nice quality
Review: Nice quality, great value. Easy to use, convenient, fast, and appears to be accurate. This whole kit was cheaper than 100 name brand test strips alone. Also, this brand’s replacement lancets and test strips are about 30% cheaper than big name consumables

Title: Love this
Review: Great price overnight shipping you cannot beat that, very well-made love the little pouch that holds everything your strips your meter your lance is your alcohol pads anything and everything you need is in your little pouch now you do not get the alcohol pads. You do have to buy them separately.. so easy to use put your strip in poke. Your finger suck the blood up get your reading. It’s no harder than that. The hardest thing to do for the first time is opening the back to get your batteries put in. I mean it took some muscle for me to put that sucker in, but I finally got it in and love this just as much as any meter that you would buy anywhere else.

Title: Inexpensive & easy to use monitor – QUESTIONABLE ACCURACY & RELIABILITY
Review: INITIAL 5 STAR: Playing around with keto diet & intermittent fasting, so I thought it would be interesting to actually track blood sugar. The price was shocking (knowing what the original glucometers cost), so I ordered this. Initially I wasted a couple of lancettes & test strips. I couldnt get it to read …So how about READ THE MANUAL! Yep, I was doing EXACTLY what they say NOT TO DO! I was smearing blood on the top. Nope, apply it to the very end, and allow capillary action to draw the tee-tiny bit of blood it needs. 5 seconds and a reading comes out. I have not checked calibration, but others report it to be good. For the price, supplies for 100 checks, and a little manual to record data, this seems to be a no-brainer.Now that said, if one is (as we used to call them) a “brittle diabetic” then the absolute best, state of the art monitoring is indicated. The CGM devices (continuous glucose monitors) appear to be game changers for many diabetics. But for someone who is simply wanting to look at their own personal response to changes in diet, exercise, timing, etc, it is a GREAT tool. I am not offering “professional medical advice” here (talk to your own doctor!) but I always tell patients that “every person is a research study N=1” meaning that they are an individual. If one has learned ANYTHING from the COVID insanity, it is that people are different in how they respond to different inputs, whether infections, injections, medications, or other lifestyle changes. This monitor can HELP YOU become “an expert on your own body” which is always my goal.EDIT (7/19/25) – Accuracy / Repeatability ConcernsAs I have been experimenting with various dietary changes (both composition & timing) as well as activity & exercise, it has been interesting to see changes. One night I had a “late pigout” with chocolate & peanut butter. So during the annoying & intrusive commercials Prime Video is forcing upon us, I did a few quick walks up & down the stairs. Over a 40 minute period, I did 11 flights. The next am my glucose was significantly lower (~20 pts) than during a prior ‘late pigout’. Yay, good to know. However…This morning fasting level was 47. Now I know what mid 50s feels like, and this was not that. So I grabbed another strip & it read 97. Hmmm, did my blurry eyes deceive me? So I repeated and got 80. Two more strips revealed 95 & 92. Now I suspect the truth lies somewhere in the midst of the 3 readings in the 90s. But what about the other two readings?I now realize that there is a SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM with this system, the test-to-test consistency (reliability) is NOT good. While I would guess that the average of the 3 in the 90s is close to accurate, what do I do with the other two numbers? At this point, ANY SINGLE TEST is suspect! This device is no longer trustworthy in my opinion. I will start to periodically test w/ 3 separate strips & see what sort of repeatable numbers I get.AT THIS TIME, I CAN NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS DEVICE
