Title: Feels cheap, App is difficult to use, Lacking clear instructions
Review: Unit feels cheaply made and the instructions are not very clear. For instance, to connect to Bluetooth, it says to download the app and connect. Great! What’s the name of the app? When looking for “GoChek2 Connect” in the app store, there isn’t anything there. Looking at the manufacturer website provides no clue which app to use. I had to Google the device and ask for the name of the app. The app is not very user friendly and provides no instruction on how to use it. I can see a graph for individual days, but not for a week, month or longer period. I tested 4 times today and the graph shows only one entry. I ordered additional test strips since it comes with only a few and I think when they are gone, I’ll just get a different kit.Another potential I see is the lancing device. The end cap is held on with only a couple small raised bumps of soft plastic. Removing the call and replacing it several times a day looks like it will run those small bumps away and the cap will not stay in place, rendering the device useless. I think a screw-on call would have made much more sense or maybe a small light-duty magnet – something that will not wear out so fast.I would not recommend buying this kit. It looks and feels cheap and if you aren’t tech savvy, you probably will not use it. If you are tech savvy, you probably won’t use it either because you’ll quickly see how clunky the app is.

Title: Not Accurate
Review: Worked well for the first week or so but I can never get an accurate reading off of it anymore. I had a hunch it wasn’t reading right so I stuck 5 different fingers and it gave me wildly different readings. I like to check my blood sugar manually whenever I change my CGM for the first day before making any decisions but this one is awful! Plus I never got the Bluetooth connectivity to work properly which was a bummer too
