Review: The batteries are included! Easy to use. Inserting the strip turns on the meter. The results are large and on a background that’s lit. The directions for setting the date and time are good. The carry case is light to medium weight and well designed. It fits 2 canisters of straps and 2 packs of lancets. The lancets are sharp, one stick and your done.Why 4 stars? The lancet delivery device is garbage. Literally, I threw it out. I’m just using the lancets by themselves, one and done. The separate instructions for the device I threw out were TINY with poor contrast.Yes, I’ll buy this again because of the price, if it holds up.GOOD PRICE, EASY TO USE and ACCURATE.

Title: Cheap but very inaccurate
Review: If you need a cheap way to poke yourself, this is a good product. If you need an accurate blood sugar reading because of a medical issue, do not buy this monitor. Yesterday morning, I checked my fasting blood sugar and it was 97. That’s higher than normal for me so I rechecked 5 min later and it was 91. This morning, my first fasting sugar said it was 101, obviously much higher than I was expecting. So I took it again within a couple minutes and it was 89. I have no way of knowing which of these readings is accurate but this monitor is probably causing me unnecessary worry now, so I’ll have to buy something else.
