Title: It’s a good case
Review: *** Another UPDATE 03/25/19I just noticed that the cover has a warranty. I contacted the seller and they are sending me a new case to replace the broken one. Absolutely no hassle involved. I have adjusted the star rating because of that. Great customer service! You can’t go wrong because they stand behind their product.***UPDATE- 03/23/19. I wanted to write an update because I think I may have been overly harsh because the edge of the plastic broke. I’m not sure why the corner broke as I have never dropped the kindle oasis. I was able to super glue the small piece that broke off back on. One of the photos I took shows the corner after the super glue repair. It seems to be a sturdy fix. This case does fit very well though. After looking at several other brands I think this fits better than most others. The plastic frame (the part that a small piece broke off) wraps around the kindle fully protecting it from a fall. The only exposed parts are where there is a cut out for the USB port and a cut out for the power button. I also like that the back follows the battery hump instead of leveling it out because it makes it easier to grip. For the money it’s a nice case. While it’s not real leather, it is attractive imitation of leather with a decent feel. Real leather would make this cost a lot more as well. ***I have had this cover for a few months now. It fits well, and turns the kindle oasis screen off automatically via magnet. The problem I have with it is that the corner or the plastic broke. A very small piece broke when I was removing the kindle from the case. The case still works and protects the kindle but I’m disappointed the corner broke. If I could find a high end case I’d definitely buy it as the oasis was not a cheap piece of kit.

Title: This cover protects the Kindle Oasis 9th Gen. from falls!
Review: This is just perfect! It fits the hand perfectly as well as the Kindle. It is very sturdy and has a textured all over feel that won’t let it slip out of your hand. It snaps into place on the Oasis so easily that it looks and feels like it isn’t a 2nd skin but the original surface.

Title: Perfect Oasis Case!
Review: Bought the Oasis in stores but couldn’t buy a case because they were recalled or something? I spent so much time looking on here to find a case that was decently priced, looked nice, and would protect my kindle. I ended up purchasing this lovely case and I couldn’t be happier! It arrived quickly and in great condition. The case fits the Oasis perfectly. It’s a little tough to take off but I mean, that’s the point of the case?! You don’t want it sliding out anywhere. The case is sleek, doesn’t add much weight, and is all around great. You can fold the top back and read with one hand. I’ve tossed the Oasis in my bag, and I’ve even dropped my kindle on accident (oops) and nothing happened to it. Great case! Extremely happy with my purchase!

Title: it was nice to find something that would give more protection
Review: Given the reported problem with Amazon’s “magnetic covers” for the new Kindle Oasis, it was nice to find something that would give more protection. This is a true “case” – the Oasis fits into a shell in the back half and the cover folds over the screen. The case seems to be well-made, fits well, automatically puts the Oasis to sleep and wakes it upon closing the opening the cover, and is very inexpensive for what it provides. However there are a few nits to pick.1. There is very little padding. The inside of the front cover is soft material that protects the screen, but there’s very little in the way of rubber creating a bumper around the device. It doesn’t feel like it would protect much against drops.2. The left-hand edge of the Oasis is not protected when the cover is open – it’s exposed, not sure if it matters.3. The Kindle Oasis is not going to come out of the case easily for reading bare – Amazon designed this Kindle to be held in the hand, which was why they went with the magnetic cover design. If they come out with an improved version I’ll probably buy it.

Title: Much better than the Oasis cover from Amazon
Review: Much better than the cover sold by Amazon (the one with the weak magnets). I actually feel that my device is secure within this cover. Unfortunately, because the cover encloses the entire device the bump on the Oasis gets in the way when you fold the cover back to read. It’s a only slight inconvenience and the cover as a whole is leaps and bounds better than the Oasis Water-Safe Fabric Standing Cover (which doesn’t even stand, mind you. I don’t know if I was doing something wrong but I could not get the cover to stand.)Pros:1. Secures the device, completely.2. Covers the metal bump so it isn’t cold when you pick it up.(I don’t know if anyone else had this problem but since Amazon decided to switch to a metal back for the new Oasis, every time I go to pick it up it’s freezing. Since this covers completely envelopes the device, this isn’t a problem anymore.)3. Good bang for your buck.(There were some imperfections on the plastic around the hinge of the cover but for the price, I can’t complain.)Cons:1. Cover doesn’t fold back all the way because of the bump.(This is no fault of the cover but has to do with the design of the Oasis itself. The front cover does not fold flush and holding the device is a little more cumbersome if you have smaller hands.)Overall, this is a very good cover and does everything you’d want a cover to do. There is, however, a lack of color options but that is just a personal preference.
