Title: Basic Headphones, a pleasant surprise.
Review: This headphone is a very simple wired headset with basic functions. Very little to go wrong. The Active noise canceling was awesome, considering how inexpensive this was. I wore them yesterday for 4 hours in an equiment room with many motors and fans. The ANR reduced the low frequency rumble and I was able to listen to my MP3 player at a much reduced volume when the ANR was activated. Battery life is exceptional. I usually have a low tolerance for the “pinching headset” but I didnt even notice them until I took them off. Very little pinch 🙂

Title: Good quality and lightweight
Review: These are amazing for the price. Very lightweight and comfortable. I just used them for twelve hours on various flights and could not believe how much noise they blocked. On a previous trip I borrowed my son’s Beats and have to say they weren’t much better.

Title: Sound quality is really good
Review: I fly a lot and have not found a headphone that cancels out the ambient noise until this set. Another reviewer talked about your ears hurting and this is true. My ears do get sore on longer flights but the trade off is worth it to me. For the first time, I do not need to turn up the volume to red just to hear distinguishable words. It fits snug to cut out communication noise and humming of the plane – it really does work well.

Title: it is AMAZING that something this good can be had at this price
Review: I bought these in October. In December, they failed on me.But wait… there’s more :-)SO many items we get on Amazon, if needing any sort of warranty, are either ‘no longer available’, or the seller is gone, or whatever. So we toss the item, and write it off. But, I tried anyway.And, to my surprise, not only is Monodeal there, they actually reply. With a real person. An actual, polite, attentive person.They sent me a replacement. Which is working perfectly, and I hope will for some time. Thank you Jenna!!Now, about the headset…I am old enough to remember when saw and tried the first Bose ANC pilot’s headset. Silicone gel ear surrounds, and what we thought amazing – ANC. Of course, I couldn’t afford them, as they cost as much as an economy car, but they were nice. But comparing the ANC of back-in-the-day to these makes no sense.So, why am I saying this? Because I see some reviews claiming the ANC on these leaves something to be desired. And I STRONGLY disagree. I find the ANC function to be excellent on these, at ANY price point. I don’t know if the reviewer is trying to compare these to something built by the DoD and costing many thousands of dollars, but such a comparison would be invalid now, wouldn’t it?I find them very comfortable (and I DETEST over the ear headsets; I used Telex in-ear when flying because of this).Overall, I love them.

Review: I recently purchased Monodeal’s noise concelling headphones and they worked very well on a recent long flight from Panama to Newark. In particular, they cancelled out a nearby baby unfortunately crying on and off. But no problem when wearing these fine headphones. Great product and a good price!

Title: Okay, but made my ears hurt
Review: It’s a running joke that I have a pinhead, so imagine my surprise when I put these on and they pinched my ears!I use headphones to listen to remote hearings for 8 to 10 hours a day. The sound quality of this headset is absolutely adequate. ANC is absolutely adequate. They are not heavy to wear. The control for ANC is easy to use.This is the first pair of on-ear headphones I’ve used, and my ears started hurting about 3 hours into the workday. I wanted to give them a fair shot, so I kept using them for the rest of my shift. Unfortunately, they just weren’t comfortable. Maybe the discomfort was exacerbated because I also wear glasses.These are basic headphones, and the price reflects this. They aren’t overpriced. If on-ear design works for you, then consider these.

Title: Poor Quality Sound, Noise Cancellation didn’t work
Review: I ordered this headset for use when travelling especially long haul flights. For the price I didn’t expect Bose quality but I hoped that it would produce decent quality sound while drowning out at least some of the outside noise. When I first opened the box, the first thing I noticed was the cheap quality of the whole set especially the the little box to control the noise cancelling features. It felt like very cheap plastic. I decided to persevere, however and followed instructions to plug in the box and charge it up for noise cancelling action. After a few minutes (or perhaps even less) the red charging light went out indicating that it was fully charged according to the instructions. I tried out the headset and switched the noise cancelling sound to “on” only to hear silence. I switched it back to “off” and could hear my audio. I tried charging it several times but with no luck. Sound would only play when the button was switched to off.As for the quality of the sound, it was passable but my daughter has a headset which we bought for $15 which has far clearer sound. I tried switching between the two sets and had to crank up the volume considerably to achieve the same sound on this headset. Not worth the $39 paid for it. I decided to return it. I had been hoping for something much better for the investment.

Review: I bought these as a last minute buy for an overseas trip, glad I did, they were very useful on a noisy flight.They give good noise reduction and I found them to be very comfortable when wearing for an exteneded period of time. The charge time for the noise reduction was great, still plenty of charge after 8 hours of flying. Priced well.
