Title: Works perfectly
Review: This is a great budget phone. I ordered it to work with Tello (which is a T-Mobile MVNO). The phone is fully unlocked and connected to Tello without issue. I first used an e-SIM. The Tello e-SIM installed using the QR code and functions perfectly. I then used a physical Tello SIM for a second line. That SIM installed and activated without issue as well. Both getting a 5G connection. Everything with the phone is working perfectly (WiFi, 5G/4G, Bluetooth, speakerphone, etc). Battery life is excellent. I did have to do a lot of security updates to get the phone current from the base install of Android 14. Then, just today (8/7/2025) it received the Android 15 update. Which is great!I can tell the phone was originally used with Visible (by Verizon). Physically the phone is in very good condition. It has a few extremely minor scratches on the screen but that’s it. Other than that it looks brand new. The scratches are only visible when you clean the screen with something like an alcohol wipe and with the light hitting at just the right angle. I installed a tempered glass screen protector and the tiny scratches are completely hidden.Overall a great phone at a great price that works with all the major carriers. Android 15 is running great on it is as well.

Title: The Bloatware In It Acts Like Malware
Review: This phone would have gotten a solid 4 or 5 stars due to the price but the amount of storage you get from it, also size and performance. However after a year of use, I truthfully have to say that the Glance bloatware app that comes pre-installed on the phone is able to plummet it down to a 1 star in all honesty. It sucks that all these companies try to act like their partnerships add any shred of positive experience when in reality they just pocket the money and make the phone experience too busy. I was able to immobilize the Glance app for about a year but recently it has become active again and I can’t disable it no matter how much I uninstall updates, force stop it, and actually hit disable in the system app settings. I’ve tried a mixture of those things to no avail. While I recognize the app only opens if you swipe it open on the lockscreen, it is still a huge annoyance that you are forced to have it. It constantly opens yourself if your lockscreen turns on and you touch it slightly and didn’t intend to open Glance. I am Never EVER getting a Motorola again, I’m definitely going to be spending extra on de-Googled phones now that Samsung and Motorola pretty much act like malware from the day you unbox them. Terrible, never again.

Title: This has the features that SHOULD be standard!
Review: Motorola deserves a huge amount of credit for manufacturing a modern smartphone with a 3.5mm headphone jack, expandable storage by Micro SD, and most importantly, an unlockable bootloader. These features should be standard across the board, but the flagship phones from most manufacturers neglect to include these things.I love the 120hz display and the 720p resolution doesn’t bother me. The battery life is impressive as well. This is an extremely good product for the low price. The phone isn’t very durable, though, and mine got a crack in its screen after falling out of my pocket a single time. Maybe that should be expected at the price point of this phone, but it was still disappointing. Definely buy a case and screen protector with this.As is par for the course with most smartphones, Motorola’s stock version of Android isn’t very good, but that shouldn’t be held against them when the unlockable bootloader allows you to flash a custom ROM of your choice. I’ve had a great time experimenting with different versions of Android, (Lineage OS, /e/,) though technical problems which might not be Motorola’s fault have forced me back to the stock OS to retain all of the device’s crucial functionality.

Review: This phone quality is in excellent condition. The price is great especially for the storage capacity. The screen quality is excellent as well no scratches or cracks. And the battery life is better than expected. The delivery was super quick. I would recommend this seller.

Review: The buying process (not prime user) was a bit stressful as my initial purchase was lost and without any option to recover my money for 2 weeks as was as “preparing for shipping” status by the delivery company. Then, I bought it again in the middle of those 2 weeks and received it early in 3 days (with customer service support and explaining the situation). Now, the phone supposed to be refurbished “acceptable” (after “like new” or “good”but other than the opened box, I cannot find any visible imperfections. It arrived with less than 40% battery, which worried me a bit (long storage time or defective battery? which in any case, the device can work less than desirable or start misbehaving) but charged properly and seems to operate as new. Initially it operate with some lags during the installation, but once set it, it works as new! Has an option for the “intelligent virtual ram” that sucks, as is definitely better to use the max 4 (when “intelligent” it uses ressources to determine if need 2 or 4 of virtual ram so it gets slower and this was maybe the reason of the problems during the initial setup). So, I can recommend to change this option first thing once possible to enter to the phone settings.I wanted this phone as an eSim hotspot when traveling and is working perfectly! Found this eSim company (simovo) that for $2 cad, 7 days 1GB and the setup took 30 seconds! (Once paid at their website, they sent an email with 3d code and a link as option for setup and using the link, the phone opened what I needed to open/confirm).I only installed a very limited quantity of the apps I generally use, but I want to believe that with a full setup of what I generally use, the phone will still respond as a new unit and not as a refurbished one (sometimes you get lucky or you get a trashy device that will show little problems that will increase in no time). Once coming back to Canada, I will probably do full setup and travel only with this phone (and place my physical sim in the device for those times). Great item, zero regrets!

Review: Great phone! I bought the Moto 5G 2024 phone as “refurbished / excellent”. I think I got a new one! Phone was completely unlocked and I had no problem taking my SIM card from my old phone and plunking it in and running through the setup. (I did the initial setup on wifi for faster updates). I use Freedom Mobile.I had no problem putting the phone into Developer Mode (go into settings and click the Build Number seven times) to turn the phone into an app developer platform.Although the phone only comes with 4GB ram, you can easily add an additional 4GB ram by provisioning from the 128GB system ram.I always return to Motorola phones for 1 simple reason… They always include an unlocked FM radio chip and provide the FM radio app. Plug in a set of headphones for an antenna, and receive 100% free FM radio… No data, no cell service required… Just FM radio! So far, I’m really happy with this phone. There wasn’t even a fingerprint on the screen! You sometimes take a chance buying refurbished products, but this one was a winner! 😄

Review: Been using it for about a day. So far it is good for text, calls, browsing and streaming. Finger print and face ID works well. No issues with the phone so far. Battery lasts long.Edit: It has been 3 months and phone still works good. There is a lag on the screen at times, like the touch screen is not as receptive but could also be I have a couple of games installed on it right now. Camera is not the best specially the front facing one.

Review: A Budget Phone That Performs Like It’s Applying for a PromotionI picked up the Motorola Moto G 5G (2024), and honestly, I’m impressed. This phone shows up like it has something to prove. The 6.6″ screen is bright and smooth, apps run without drama, and Android 14 feels clean and snappy — like the phone actually wants to help me get things done. The 50MP dual camera is way better than I expected at this price. Daylight shots look crisp, low‑light photos don’t turn into abstract art, and the colours are surprisingly natural. It’s basically the overachiever of budget cameras. The 128GB storage + 4GB RAM combo handles everyday tasks without breaking a sweat. Calls are clear, 5G is fast, and the unlocked Verizon compatibility means no carrier attitude problems.Battery life? Solid. It lasts long enough that I stopped carrying a power bank everywhere like a nervous parent. If you want a reliable, no‑nonsense phone that quietly outperforms its price tag, this Moto is a winner. Absolutely satisfied!!!

Review: So you get what you pay for I guess. The phone is perfect except as a phone function. The speaker for the phone specifically is horrible. It’s always sounding garbled and I can’t hear people on the other end. Every call is this way. I needed a phone with a proper phone speaker so I’m choked. The media speaker on the bottom is fine though thankfully. I understand it’s refurbished but you can’t sell a phone and say it’s been tested if the main function of a phone , for PHONE CALLS is in horrible condition. I don’t give products low ratings but I’d say 2.5. I gave it a 3 because for the price it’s what you have to accept. Changed it because few weeks later it’s infuriating how horrible any call is.
