Title: Dropped calls and interference
Review: I am usually a fan of Motorola but they’ve let me down on this product. I had a set of AT&T cordless phones for the past 7 years in my 1Bdrm:1Bath Apartment. No issues until the past several months when they wouldn’t hold a charge for more than an hour. So I saw this deal on these Motorola units and thought I would give it a try. No such luck. While stylish and sleek, their appearance is top notch. However during calls I was constantly getting interference and/or the calls would just drop. I also didn’t like the fact that when using handsfree speakerphone, you still had to hold the unit in your hand because the speaker is on the back and the mic on the front so if you put it face down so you can hear the other party clearly, they can’t hear you as the mic is obstructed. Conversely if you leave the mic unobstructed (phone face up) then you can’t hear the party you have called. Poor design on that end of things. I attempted to reach the seller via their link to the website but it wouldn’t let me connect with anyone here in the US and there was no way to email anyone without filling out their template/form which all centered around “outside the US” contacts. Disappointed and frustrated, I packed it all back up and returned it under the allowable policy and was promptly refunded. Then went on Amazon again, found replacement batteries for my existing phones, bought a set for 1/5 the cost of the Motorola phones and I am back in business.

Title: Great Phone For A Great Price. Great For Elderly
Review: My father is hard of hearing and can’t see very well now that he is in his 70s. My father was using a set of VTEC phones and he constantly had issues both personal and technical. That batteries on his old phone would die very quickly. You could take them off of the stand and within 10 minutes of talk time, they would die. Another issue he was having was seeing he was calling and navigating the phone. The display wasn’t very big and the backlight wasn’t the greatest. Also, he couldn’t hear the phone ring very well because of his hearing. He puts the phone on speaker when he is talking to someone so he can hear and the speakers on his old phone just wasn’t loud enough for him to hear when he was talking or when they were ringing. I bought these phones for him on after reading a lot of reviews for a lot of different phones. I was hoping they would just help him a little bit but they have been a blessing for him. It is hard to imagine something so simple as a telephone making that big of an impact but they have. He can now read the display. He can navigate the phone with ease and use all of the features. They are very loud when they ring and he has no trouble at all hearing the ring. The speakerphone feature is also loud enough for him to enjoy being on the phone and being able to actually hear. For the price, you can’t beat these phones in my opinion. Another feature I like is being able to replace the batteries in this phone with ease.

Title: Handset failed after one week
Review: Thought this was a great phone for my mom. After one week, the handset progressively got worse and very crackly. It then got to the point where she could not hear anything through the handset, but the person on the other end could hear her. She could not even hear a dial tone. We bought this for the built in answering machine which did work great. I returned the first handset and got another and the 2nd seems to be working just fine.

Title: Dosen’t Work
Review: Received phone looked very nice. Set up worked about 2 weeks. Didn’t really use much it is a landline phone. After couple weeks started having problems. Phone rings can see caller ID, when answer can’t hear caller and caller can not hear me. Can retrieve messages, but cannot see caller list. Amazon would not do anything, because was right over the 30 day return policy. Electronic Express seller of phone, gave me service number, which was same number on phone box. Called number for weeks either says call won’t go through or the number calling is busy and disconnects. Called Electronic Express back gave me a couple other numbers not in service or recording has you pick option for landline phones and give you the same number, that doesn’t go through. I cannot not even reach someone to answer a question, if maybe I have set something wrong. So basically this phone is useless to me. I will never by a Motorola product again. I do need to buy a new phone, because this one useless.
