Title: Best value color ereader
Review: If anyone is interested in this device, do not buy it at normal price, and get it while it is on sale. With the coupon, this is a great color ereader for the price. It has settings to switch between color and only black and white on the display, which I love. I bought this to upgrade from my old kindle from 2013, and compared to that kindle, this device is amazing! Because it runs android, all my books are accessible on this device, not just my Kindle books. My only issue is that the page turn buttons on this device do not work while reading on amazon, you have to tap the screen to turn pages. The page turn buttons only work on books side loaded onto the device. Chrome and the Google Play store are also available on this device and load great options to get my books, but there is a lot of ghosting while scrolling. So if you’re looking to scroll the Internet or watch videos, this device is not for you. The reading quality is great on this device, even for comics/manga, which was a nice surprise. Compared to my phone, reading manga has become much easier. This device is also very nice to hold, as it is made of plastic and has a leather like finish on the back, which makes this device very light. I almost didn’t want to buy a case for it because of how nice the reading experience was out of the box. I did get a case, but not the official one. I found that a universal tablet case for a 7-8.5in tablet that hooks onto the corners of the device fit just fine. I got this kind of case for the device because I also bought the stylus and wanted to be able to attach it to the tablet, as the official stylus is not magnetic. For my needs, with the official stylus, the notetaking features available on this device are great. You can adjust the type of digital pen, line thickness, and even the color! Just be aware that if you write too fast, there may be a delay with the writing showing up. It doesn’t bother me though since I only wanted the notetaking features for planning/scheduling. This would not be good for notetaking in a fast environment such as school/work, as I noticed the battery drains a little faster when using the notes/annotating. The feel of the stylus on the screen is a very smooth experience as well. It is not rubbery or scratchy. However, it does not have a paper-like feel. The writing feels more like a smooth ball-point pen. When using the notes app, multiple pages need to be used if writing a lot, as the pages are limited to the size of the screen. The screen itself feels sturdy and protected with it being sunken in, and also makes it nice to hold. I do keep microfiber cloths on hand to wipe the screen occasionally, as when I have the device on a higher brightness, the screen picks up a lot of my fingerprints and makes them very noticeable. I don’t really use the brightness functions very often, as I find it a little too bright. The regular screen with just a couple notches of brightness is good enough for me. I chose this device because it is available on amazon that actually has a customer service to make my purchase feel more secure should I have any issues. All the other options similar to this one that are available are much higher priced, are on a platform not on amazon, and their official sites have customer service that seem non-existent. With the coverage add-on offered by Amazon for this device, it makes this device a great investment long term.

Title: Great eReader on sale!
Review: Got the Musnap Ocean ereader for $189 (not counting tax, no pen) with a coupon and I’d say it’s very much worth it at that price point. It’s a very Kindle Oasis-esque shape but without the unleveled back. The buttons are nice and clicky and the back is a super comfy to hold although it does cling on to dust as can be seen in the photos. The magnets on it are MAC-level magnets so you can cling it onto a refrigerator if you want 😂I received the ereader at 79% battery and when I got to 4% I’d read 430 pages of “the woman in the window” on Kindle over 5 days (airplane mode and light turned off) as well as read the Bible every day, played about 7 Sudoku games, downloaded apps off the Google play store, browsed the internet some and messed around with settings + played with the lighting for about 30 minutes. There’s a very convient setting to turn off google mobile services for less battery consumption (removes the store until enabled) + the lighting profiles are really nice and can be adjusted + there’s a task manager where you can force close apps running in the background 👍Compared to the Bigme B7 ereader (color) this battery lasts a lot longer and the monochrome screen is much brighter, making it so I can read at any time of day if there’s any source of light in the room or behind me.I will be keeping this ereader and returning the Bigme B7 I got.Bonus! The Musnap Ocean only loses 1% of battery on standby mode overnight so I don’t feel any need to turn it fully off.

Review: I bought it mainly for the open system and the recessed (sunken) screen, but the display isn’t as stunning as I expected. Compared with the Kobo Clara BW, it still feels a bit weaker. The battery life is very good, roughly on par with the Kindle Paperwhite 6. The physical buttons are also very comfortable to use.As for the front light, there is some uneven lighting (“light/dark areas”), which is slightly worse than the Kindle Paperwhite 6, and there’s a bit of light bleed on the right side.Overall though, it’s still a very solid device with a premium feel. The casing has a matte, textured finish. Most importantly, the recessed screen, 7-inch size with physical buttons, and an open system really check all the boxes for me. I genuinely like it a lot.In terms of rating, because the front light is a bit underwhelming, I’d give it around 4–4.5 out of 5. But since it’s a domestic product, I want to show my support and give it a full score.

Title: I’m unsatisfied but your experience might be different.
Review: I want to like this. It’s not actually bad for the price. Android 14. Clean screen and even lighting. Intuitive. My only issue is the wifi range on it is short. I can’t get my wifi to stay connected when I’m in my room. I have used Boox devices from my room with no issues.
