Title: Cost-Effective, Programmable Hearing Aids
Review: A hearing issue is an invisible disability that affects many of us. Having an ample range of hearing aids to choose from provides alternatives to address the issue. Blaids Neuro Rechargeable RIC + Programmable Hearing Aids offer an over-the-counter solution to address those needs.While testing these hearing aids, I did all adjustments myself and did not use the provided Blaids phone service to assist with fitting/adjustments.Charging:When I first charged the hearing aids, I connected the provided USB-A to USB-C cable to the charging case. The case and the hearing aids began to charge. Five lights indicate the charge level of the case. Two lights, one at each side of the 5 lights, show the individual hearing aid charge level. Subsequent charging of the hearing aids did not require connecting the case to external power, but intermittent case charging is necessary. The case lights quit blinking and are all lit when fully charged. The hearing aid’s individual light quits blinking and goes out when charged.Programming:Programming the hearing aids requires using the AcoSound app on a cell phone. Available choices are to upload an audiogram or take a hearing test. I tried both options, resetting the hearing aids between trials. Both options are simple to perform. The hearing test showed different audiogram results than my previous audiogram. I am using the app on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Four pre-set modes are also available through the app.• Everyday Use• Indoor• Outdoor• Phone/TVThe uploaded audiogram or hearing test audiogram can be applied to the modes individually or to all modes at the same time. I found it simpler and most effective to apply the audiogram to all modes at the same time.Additional settings such as the ability to reduce feedback, reduce background noise, increase soft sounds, and remove tinny sounds are also available. I consider these fine-tuning adjustments that enhance the hearing aids performance.Functionality:I have used the hearing aids for about a week in different environments. In a noisy restaurant, the hearing aids were satisfactory, but did not seem quite as comfortable as other hearing aids I’ve used. Watching TV, the hearing aids performed adequately depending on the volume. I usually ask others in the room to adjust the volume to a comfortable level for them, then I adjust my hearing aids for that volume. During one-on-one conversations in a quiet setting, the hearing aids worked well.Final Thoughts:Comparing the performance of these hearing aids to others I have used influences my opinion.• They perform well and have much of the same functionality as other hearing aids.• I found the volume adjustment affects the amount of feedback with certain audiogram settings in different modes. Finding the right volume to reduce or eliminate feedback using different audiogram/mode settings can be challenging.• The 4 modes provide an adequate range of use, and I think the “Everyday Use” mode is the best.• While the app is functional and comprehensive, using it effectively may require calling Blaids professionals.Hearing issues are not the same for everyone. A tailored experience for people with hearing loss is best. When using these hearing aids, I suggest enlisting Blaids professional support to fit and adjust the hearing aids for optimal use. Overall, these devices can be a cost-effective approach to address hearing loss.

Title: Adjustable hearing aid with lots of features!
Review: I love the functionality of these hearing aids. It’s easy to charge, similar to air pods. The Bluetooth connection makes it quick and easy to connect to my phone and app. The technology that goes into the sound quality is amazing. It offsets wind and noise, provides noise cancellation, environment detection and directional dual microphones. The sound is clear in different environments and the noise cancellation works great. I love that I can personalize my hearing preferences. It’s also comfortable to wear. I especially appreciate the tinnitus masking. The only thing is it’s not comfortable to sleep or lay down with, which is a time when I hear my tinnitus more. It’s a bit pricey for over the counter but worth it for the functionality and quality if it will last years.

Title: Expected better for the price
Review: These are an expensive set of over the counter hearing aids that are maybe 3.5 star. They come with all the supplies you need to set them up as is expected. You download the app to be able to make detailed changes to them, including entering you own hearing test, or you can take the hearing test in the app. The app is adaptable so you can do basic settings, or more detailed changes. I tried both entering my hearing plan and taking the hearing test. The app hearing test takes about 6 or so minutes per ear. If you choose not to use the app, you can adjust the four modes and volume with the toggle switch on the hearing devices themselves. It comes with a charging box and it takes around two hours to fully charge. The box uses a USB c cable. I connected my android phone to the devices with Bluetooth. The app and phone streaming connections are a different process. You connect to the devices individually and after you connect they are supposed to work as one device, but they don’t. When used with my phone there was a lag between the two, so it sounded like an echo. Then the right hearing aid would mute so only the left worked. The sound level is also low, so it was hard to hear some audio, but the other was fine and the phone and aid volume was maxed. The phone use was the same and you would need to use your phone to speak. You can contact the company and they will help you set up the hearing aids. I also experienced a lot of feedback noise and adjusting other options did not solve this issue. Part of this is likely as the volume had to be boosted quite high to use them, which is not my usual setting.

Title: Fit is Comfortable and They Work Great Game Changer for me
Review: I’ve been using the Blaids Neuro Rechargeable Hearing Aids for a little while now, and they’ve been a real game changer for me. What I like most is how easy they are to recharge and no messing with tiny batteries, just put them in and they’re good to go. The Bluetooth feature is super convenient, letting me connect right to my phone so I can take calls and listen to music without hassle. The app makes it simple to do a hearing test and customize settings, which feels like having a personal audiologist right in my pocket. The noise cancellation works really well, so I can focus on conversations even in busy or noisy places. I also appreciate that they have dual microphones and lots of processing power to help make sounds clearer. They fit comfortably and don’t feel bulky at all. Plus, it’s great knowing these are made here in the USA. If you’re looking for hearing aids that combine tech, comfort, and quality, these are a great choice. I would recommend highly, Thank you!

Title: Too much feedback
Review: Lots of buzzing and feedback from these aids. Not sure why but no amount of fiddling seems to help. They are however fairly comfortable to wear.
