Review: This magnifier is very cheaply made. The compartment for the 3 AAA batteries is very loose and its cover doesn’t fit once the batteries are installed; I had to use a rubber band to hold it closed. The lenses are poorly ground and very convex. The large lens seems to be about 20-30x magnification, which is why the manufacturer doesn’t list it on the item’s description; I doubt the small lens is 100x, but whatever it is, it needs to be pulled back quite a way to get the maximum magnification which makes the focal point about the size of a pin. A waste of $9.95. I recommend the Dicfeos 30X 40X Magnifying Glass with Light and Stand, Folding Design. It has a lower advertised magnification, but it is a far superior product for only an extra $2.

Review: This is a very good magnifying piece – larger lens is clear and light is great. Raised areas around light button helps from accidental turn on. Be aware, the larger lens is not 100x – the quarter size lens above the light button is!

Review: This magnifying glass is not that strong. It has a much smaller and much stronger area with a light on it but I could not even get it to focus right. I would not recommend buying this if you need to see very up close details.
