Title: Thanks Santa!
Review: Our 8-year-old son got this as a Christmas gift, he is an avid reader and this is by far his favorite gift. He uses it daily in the car and to read before bed. He is able to use Amazon kids without assistance to download new books, and I have been able to put rented library books on as well. Easy to use and functional. Brightness is good. Battery life superb, hasn’t died yet with only a few charges and he reads for hours. We like the color (sea creatures) and size. There are some slow/lags as I have also experienced with kindle in the past but overall 5 stars.

Title: Amazing!
Review: The colors are super fun for the kiddos. It is light as can be and won’t strain their wrists. The battery life is beyond amazing. I’ve left mine out into he cold for a week and it still has battery. This is so easy to use and navigate the store for new books. The speed is a bit slow when shopping, but it isn’t so bad I can’t handle it or that it loses my kids attention. I have thrown and tossed this thing around and it doesn’t have so much as a scratch on it. If you’re thinking about buying it, it is worth it and do it. The build of it is perfect for children and indestructible.

Title: Excellent for kids
Review: We got this for my son for Christmas. He has always enjoyed being read to, but has started wanting to read more on his own this year. For reference, he’s in 3rd grade. This has already proven worth the money. He got this on Christmas morning (3 days ago), and has already logged MANY hours of reading on his own, and has even chosen to read on this device over using his Nintendo Switch or playing other games. We consider that a huge win, and hope it continues to grow his love of reading!

Title: VERY DIFFICULT TO USE
Review: this was a gift to my child. there are many things terrible with this product. I will list them here:1) the search is not a search. I searched for The Hobbit, hit the return button and got results for Spider Man, Harry Potter, etc. No where was I given options for the Hobbit other than in what appeared to be the suggested searches. Low and be hold apparently, that was the search. No place did it list out the options where I could clearly see prices and edition options.2) So I bought the Hobbit for like the 4th time in my life, yes its a favorite I have lots of different editions, and I said I wanted to assign it to my child’s kindle. I synced the devices AND IT NEVER SHOWED UP. so I had to blindly click around in the Kindle book area of my desktop website for Amazon to find it and then there is another thing to click to send it to their device. This should not be a two step process.3) now the home tab of thee kids kindle isn’t home. on an e-reader I expect to see my library of books I can read. no, it is a shopping center. to get to your library of books, you need to go into recent.4) there is no way to sync up my child’s device with her library card through Libby, even though this is supposed to be an option via my library and the Libby programing.I am very sorry Amazon, get yourself together, clearly label things, make things user interface friendly this is a terrible product. I will not be buying a kindle for myself EVER.

Title: Convenient and long lasting battery
Review: Ease of use – The books don’t have a button to easy shut it down and make a new selection. We had to swipe down all along the screen corners to find out how to close it. It would he a nice update to include a row of quick link bottoms at the bottom for easeThe brightness and quality are good!The device itself is really small but the text size is good.The book selections are good but not great, newer titles (past year) ade not available unless you pay for them.

Title: Wonderful product!
Review: I am a reader and so is my granddaughter. She always sees my kindle and wants one. So, for her 9th birthday, I gifted her this kids kindle. She will hardly put it down! They just went on a road trip, and I’m sure it will keep her busy for all the hours on the road. I love that it has encouraged her to read even more and it is so easy for her to learn to use!
