Title: A very good laptop stand, with some limitations
Review: We have several laptops in the house, and we are not always sitting a desk. Sometimes, there are situations where an adjustable laptop stand would really come in handy. Or, even a stand for our tablets, that seem to get even more use. Having experience with ORICO products, I had no doubt about the quality before I ordered this laptop stand.This is a solid, all aluminum laptop stand, that swivels 360 degrees on its base. It offers versatility in the positions it can achieve. It has protective padding to prevent scratching of the laptop, as well as nonskid tabs. There are no tension adjustments on this stand. The positions are kept in place by the stiffness of the pivot points. The stand has ample openings to allow laptops to vent, and stay cool. And there are two tabs at the bottom to keep the device from falling off depending on the angle of the stand.MY THOUGHTS;A way to adjust/tighten the pivot points would definitely make holding larger laptops with more stability. I placed my 16-inch ALIENWARE laptop on it, and depending on the position (fully extended), it would not support it and started to retract. With the arms not extended, and the plate tilted, it was fine. Also, the two tabs that are meant to hold the laptop, are too short and should extend higher. My ALIENWARE laptop barely kept its position. If not for the non-slip strips it might have fallen off.On a lighter note; my GALAXY TAB S11 fit perfectly, and stayed secured throughout the different positions I adjusted the stand to.Overall, this is a very sturdy laptop stand, that will support most lighter weight laptops, and tablets. Just from my experience, I will say that most larger laptops (16 inch, or larger) may not be accommodated in all stand positions. For my tablet it is great.Even with those limitations, I still think its a good value for the money, and I would recommend it.
