Title: Non-Typical Use That Works
Review: My husband goes to bed early and I tend to be more of a night owl. Instead of just laying there waiting to fall asleep, I will usually do stuff on my phone, which is fine because it’s on silent. Lately, I have been wanting to watch a movie or something, I just get up and go watch one in the family room and often fall asleep. My husband came up with the idea of me getting some hearing aids, so I can watch a movie in bed with the sound super low so it doesn’t wake him up, and if I fall asleep, I’m already in bed. It’s actually a good compromise. So I looked around for some good ones, but not expensive ones, because I really don’t need hearing aids under normal circumstances. The price point on this set was in the range I was looking for and they had the features I wanted. I really like how clear the sound is and how comfortable they are. They take about an hour and a half to charge and one charge lasts 20 hours, but with the charging case a charge lasts 80 hours. I’ve had them a week and a half and I’m still on my first charge. I am only using them a couple of times a week for short time periods. I did fall asleep with them on one night, and he just took them out of my ears and put them in the case when he woke up. There are 5 volume levels and 2 modes (normal or noise reduction). I was able to quickly find a volume that allowed me to clearly hear and enjoy a movie while keeping the TV volume really low. This may not be the typical use for hearing aids, but it works for us.
