Title: They don’t whistle & squeal
Review: I like to please don’t whistling squeal with feedback all the time. They are pretty easy to use too – and they have a simple on/off switch for example. I mean how hard is it to put on off switch on a hearing aid? But of the numerous ones I have reviewed several of them will have one and twos or no markings at all. These also show a green color if it is on. The volume button is fairly easy to use too – it does a couple things so it does have a bit of a trick to it. However just to turn it up and down you simply click it up or click it down. If you want to change programs you have to press and hold it a few seconds. If it weren’t for that program thing, I doubt anyone would even need a booklet to operate these. The one thing that makes them hard to use is that they can be difficult to get down in the ear canal. It probably wouldn’t be so much of a problem if you were using them for yourself, but when using them with a loved one who is disabled to the point that you have to put the hearing aids in for them, it is difficult. There’s also this little bar that’s plastic that sticks out dash they call it a stabilizer bar and you’re supposed to be able to trim it and have it down at the bottom of the ear so that the hearing aid stays in good. That’s not working out when I’m trying to put these in so I’ve just got this plastic piece sticking out of the ear. That said it makes it really easy to take them out because you can just grab that bar and pull it right out.My tall father has extremely long ears and these are almost too short for his long ears. I suspect that things might fit most women better than really big men. They do just fit him though so I think they should fit the majority of most people. The case situation is a bit confusing. They come with a nice case but then a charger is separate. These do need to be charged up daily. My father does have severe hearing loss but they still help him hear better. They don’t replace his $7,000 hearing aids that due to his condition he continually destroys and loses, but they certainly do help. With these, he’s able to hear well enough to answer questions spoken loudly & music turned up whereas without them he is almost completely deaf.Besides the case, charger & cord, this set of 2 come with a variety of sizes of tips, a quick start and use/troubleshooting book, and a cleaning brush. The tips are very easy to change out.

Title: remarkably good for what are technically amplifiers
Review: These are not actual hearing aids that require an audiologist to determine in what range your hearing loss is, specifically. BUT…for what they are—amplifiers—these are pretty darn good. If your mild hearing loss is more or less generalized across the frequencies, these will work well. Much less anxiety-producing than *real*, and very expensive hearing aids that are so frequently lost. Granted, if your hearing problem is more complex, and severe, these may not be your very best choice, but would certainly do, in a pinch.I have small ear canals, but I’m able to successfully keep these in place, with the right tip. They are very easy to control power on/off, and volume level, imo. They are relatively unobtrusive, visually, too, if that is a concern. One other plus I should mention is that I’ve yet—knock wood— to experience the *feedback* or nerve-shattering shrill whistling that can accompany hearing aids/amplifiers. Overall, these devices are excellent quality for what they are.

Title: A good set of hearing amplifiers/aids
Review: If you have hearing loss across the entire spectrum these would be perfect for you. They’re actually hearing amplifiers but to find out what type of hearing loss you have you can always get a hearing test. It comes with a nice hard case, a charging dock, and a charging cable (no 5a1v adapter). There is also spare earpieces and tubes and a cleaning brush. The sound quality on these is pretty good. I would rate it about an 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 compared to my prescription set. I always recommend trying OTC before investing thousands for a prescription set because these may be all you need. Whenever you get a new set of hearing aids start using them only 2 hours a day for the first week and increase by 2 hours each additional week till your brain and hearing gets used to them. I would recommend these to people who have mild to moderate hearing loss and those on a budget.

Title: They simply DO NOT work.
Review: I am a positive person. I like to give everything and everyone the benefit of the doubt, and I love when I can write a positive review that I am excited about. However, the only good thing I can find to say about these so-called hearing aids is that they have a nice case, clear instructions, and a good selection of ear canal tips included.I have a problem hearing low tones. The prescription hearing aids that I already have are getting very old and it is not cost effective for me to replace them right now. I hoped this product would be the solution. It wasn’t. Not only do they amplify sound for me on any setting, but when I tried to listen to the TV with them, they muffled and blocked the sound. I thought I was surely doing something wrong, but none of the troubleshooting steps worked. Either I received a defective product, or this product needs to go back to the drawing table.I realize it is early in the game for over-the-counter hearing assist products, but maybe wait to put it on the market until after it is refined, and it actually works.

Review: This was a gift for my mother-in-law, and it’s been a game changer. The Hearyou Hearing Amplifier is discreet, rechargeable, and easy to use. She loves that it’s nearly invisible and cancels background noise, making conversations much clearer. No more struggling to hear at family gatherings — she’s more confident and engaged than ever. Highly recommend!

Review: I recently purchased these hearing aids, and I must say they’ve been a delightful surprise. The level of comfort they offer is impressive, especially with the inclusion of silicone tips that fit snugly inside the ear. It’s a thoughtful touch that adds to the overall wearability. One notable design feature is the placement of the main unit behind the ear. This not only ensures a discreet appearance but also adds to the comfort factor. Most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them unless they specifically look for it. The inconspicuous design is a big plus, making these hearing aids suitable for various social situations.Adjusting these hearing aids is a breeze. The user-friendly design allows for quick and easy adjustments to personalize the settings according to your comfort and hearing needs. The simplicity of the adjustment process is particularly valuable for those who may be new to using hearing aids. What truly stands out for me is the rechargeable feature. The convenience of not having to constantly change batteries is a game-changer. It not only saves on ongoing costs but also reduces environmental impact. The rechargeable capability adds a level of practicality that enhances the overall user experience. One of the key advantages of these hearing aids is their affordability. For anyone on a tight budget in need of hearing aids, this option provides a cost-effective solution without compromising on comfort or functionality. It’s a relief to find a product that offers such a balance between affordability and performance. In conclusion, these hearing aids have exceeded my expectations. They are comfortable, discreet, easy to adjust, and the rechargeable feature is a significant plus. If you’re looking for an affordable option that doesn’t sacrifice quality, these hearing aids are definitely worth considering.

Review: The HearYou Hearing Amplifiers from OTC Hearing are decent cost effective solution for those struggling with slight hearing loss or have trouble hearing in certain situations. They are a simple and easy to use straightforward solution for improving daily interactions. The behind the ear design is subtle and lightweight, making them comfortable for prolonged use without drawing attention. The form factor is similar to most modern behind the ear models on the market that cost much more. The setup was easy and the instructions were easy to follow and allows you to customize the sound settings, which allows for a personalized experience that accommodates a range of environments. In terms of performance, the HearYou amplifiers work well. There is no substitute for actual hearing aids tuned for your specific frequency loss but these amplifiers work well enough as a much less expensive alternate. The sound for the most part is clear but until you get used to them, they will sound a bit unnatural or filtered but they effectively filter out background noise, which enhances focus during conversations, watching TV or movies and in social settings. The battery life claim in the listing is 13hours but I think that depends how loud you use them. I didn’t get that kind of performance but they would last a whole day on one charge since I didn’t wear them constantly throughput the day. They come with a charging stand with a magnetic connection that charges with a USB-C cable but I would have preferred a carrying case with integrated charger. The case they come with is fairly bulky and effectively protects them but that’s it.These hearing amplifiers are not a bad solution for the price for anyone suffering slight hearing loss and needs a boost in certain situations but they are not a substitute for real hearing aids. I would recommend this product based on the performance for the price but they aren’t perfect. They are however very well made, easy and straight forward to use and do help.

Review: These hearing amplifiers are well made and compact. They are easy to set up and work well. In particular, they fit snugly into the ear canal, making them stable on the ear without falling out. They are so comfortable to wear that sometimes I forget I’m wearing them. These hearing amplifiers are a great gadget for me because they helps amplify sounds and makes it easier for me to hear the sounds around me. They have eleven levels of adjustable volume, suitable for people with different hearing levels. There are also four preset modes to choose from, suitable for different listening scenarios. While they don’t offer personalized hearing enhancement, they work well and were easy to set to the hearing level I needed. However, the charging time is relatively long, taking about 6 hours to fully charge. And there is occasional echo when adjusting volume and preset modes.Overall, I was surprised because I could hear more and farther away. These listening devices are ideal for people with hearing problems.
