Title: Best cordless phone system I have used
Review: This is a great phone system! One of the best features, that I wasn’t even aware of until they arrived, is that the phones don’t use the typical battery packs that are impossible to find or too expensive to replace. These phones use normal, NiMH rechargeable AAA! I buy new cordless phone systems every 3 years because the phones won’t hold a good charge anymore and the replacement battery packs cost more than new phones (if you can even find them). The fact that these phones use normal, easily replaceable batteries is a huge deal for me. That one feature alone makes up for the slightly higher cost of entry because I’ll make up for it in a 3 years, but these phones also have great features and work very well that also make the price worth it. With all of the features that these phones come with, I don’t foresee the need to replace the phone system for a very, very long time.Adding new handsets to the system is incredibly simple. There are some features that are more complicated to use that you will have to reference the manual for, but that’s only because it can do so much. Basic functions are easy and intuitive. Call quality is good. The Link2Cell feature was a requirement for me, and it works well. The cordless range is very good, even without the optional extender.If you have a wired headset plugged into the headset jack, then you cannot use the speakerphone. I was hoping to leave a headset hooked up to the phone for longer calls, but use the speakerphone for shorter calls, and that doesn’t work well.The speakerphone quality is okay. The microphone picks up people on the other side of the room, which is good for me, but could be bad for others. I haven’t actually been on the other side of a speakerphone call, but my wife tells me it echoes a bit, but that could be because I have it mounted on the wall.Overall, I am very pleased with this phone system and very glad I purchased it. I fully expect to use it for 10 years or more.

Title: Great Sound Quality and Very Well Made!
Review: The sound clarity is wonderful, and these are great for a small office, I previously owned the AT&T 2 line phone system with multiple handsets and a RCA 4 line phone system they still sell under the Motorola name, and the calls were always poor quality with it sounding like 2 soup cans with a string between them but this Panasonic system all the calls sound like a landline and the options are great. The cordless handsets also use 2 rechargeable AAA batteries which are included in the box, but they will be much cheaper to replace down the road as I won’t be at the mercy of an expensive soldered and sealed battery kit saving me money when they stop charging

Title: Good unit, a few caveats
Review: Had this unit for several months now, it’s a good system. Using it with Time Warner internet phone service with a fax machine looped into Line 2. No major issues after getting everything set up properly.The Good:• Fair price for a home 2-line system (business phones with multiple lines are way too expensive)• Bluetooth handsets means you can put them anywhere there’s a plug; only the base unit needs to be near phone jacks/modem.• Built-in answering system means goodbye to paying for voicemail. Can be accessed remotely and either line can be accessed from any handset.• Import contacts. I don’t use the Link2Cell feature, but you can turn it on briefly and have it ingest contacts from a phone via Bluetooth.The Meh:• No message indicators. The screen will say you have a message but honestly a little flashing LED you can see from across the room would have added so much more value. We keep the base station upstairs so when we come home we only see a handset first and there’s no quick indication of a message waiting.• Ringtones are LAME. Many have posted about this and it’s true, the built-in ringtones are obnoxious. I have Line 1 and 2 set to the first two ringtones which are typical high-pitched rings that unfortunately are too audibly close to easily distinguish from each other. But the rest of the tones are so awful and annoying I just can’t use them. Would love it if Panasonic allowed downloading of new ringtones.• Some functions (like call forwarding) are accessed by entering a series of codes that are in the manual. Rather unintuitive and hard to dig them out the thick manual; would have been better if they were accessed via simple menu items. I mean, why are you protecting me from myself?Overall, happy with this purchase as it fit the bill for a solid, inexpensive 2-line system. Just a few annoyances short of being perfect.

Title: Very Happy With This Phone System
Review: This is a great phone system. I have two phone lines (yes I still want a landline in my house) one I use for my personal use and the other for business. I have purchased other brands of phone systems similar to this in the past and they were terrible. The issues with the others systems were too many to count. I took a long time researching a new phone system and I very happy I picked this one.Here is what I love about this phone:1. It works as it should2. No crazy bright blue light on it showing it’s charging. My previous phones systems all had this and I didn’t like it. This has a display on the face and when I pick up the hand set is the only time it lights up.3. You can hear people on the other end. Both on the main base and on the cordless handsets.4. Re-playing a message is easy. So is deleting a message.5. CID is easy6. Editing a number from CID is easy7. It has a cool feature that after 2 or 3 rings it will announce who is calling. When I’m not right near a phone it helps me determine if I wan to run to pick up the call.8. The batteries seem to last a long time.Cons:1. Challenging to set up your outgoing VM message.2. Ok not a big a thing but I did purchase a head set to plug into my cordless phone and the rubber thing on the side where you plug the head set into is difficult to move. I sometimes have to use a butterknife to unplug the rubber piece. The jack doesn’t seem to work too well. I did purchase the headset that was recommended to go with it.Overall I recommend this phone to anyone.

Review: Calls are clear, the block feature has cut down dramatically those unwanted annoying calls and the base unit is easy to use. I like that I can pair my cell phone with it so instead of answering calls with my cell they all come through on this system, very nice feature (obviously this only works when your phone is within range of the system). Also important to note this system does play a musical tune when people are put on hold. Not sure how to change the tune as yet because this was never mentioned in the manual or online.

THE SOUND IS CLEAR AND YOU CAN IDENTIFY THE SPEAKER ON THE LINE EASILY. ITS EASY TO USE AND HAS THINGS MARKED CLEARLY, AND HAS AN EASY WAY TO FROM ONE LINE TO THE OTHER AND TO USE THE CALL WAITING AS WELL. DURING A POWER FAILURE THE SYSTEM WORKED FOR ABOUT AN HOUR.
