Title: Panasonic KX-TGD830M cordless phone is a winner
Review: had an old Panasonic phone so this was an easy transition. There’s a lot to like about this particular model. Expandable and a feature set thats great. The call blocking is what I’ve wanted for a looong time and it’s BIG. The voice and sound is outstanding, the answering system is easy and clear. I’m a big fan and sorta glad the old one died finally lol. Only niggle is the batteries that came with it were 300Ma and that’s too small so I ordered some Eneloop Panasonic BK-4HCCA6BA pro AAA High-Capacity Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries which are 980Ma (and more $) and well worth getting. Great phone and it even looks good.

Title: Great cordless phones and answering machine!
Review: It was time to replace my cordless phones after more than 12 years of service. After looking through the options, this cordless phone model with an answering machine base and two extra satellite phones looked perfect! I wanted to stay with Panasonic after so many years of good service with my previous cordless phones. It was easy to set up although I did enlist my son’s help because this is not my area of expertise. I love the features including a speaker phone and a call block option! It was easy to change the time when we moved the clocks back a week ago. I am really enjoying my new Panasonic cordless phone set!

Title: Panasonic phones have a long life
Review: I have very old Panasonic set that finally wore out. This was fairly easy to set up & a lot harder to program some of the phone functionality. It took 2 days of randomly trying. No 800 support # to call for help @ Panasonic. Phones are more lightweight than previous set so unsure of long-term quality. Much flimsier. Brightness of numbers is terrific. Good value for money.

Title: Surprised that it’s a good phone
Review: It was really difficult to find a landline phone with good reviews because they all appear to have issues, but this Panasonic model works well for me. I have not added on addition phones to mine.PROS: You can adjust the ringer volume. Sound quality is very clear for myself and the person on the other end of the phone. I have had a 45 minute long phone conversation with no issues. The power phone cord is about 40 inches long. Buttons are easy to use on the handset and the view screen on the phone is easy to read.CONS: It comes with a manual but the directions were a little hard to understand. There is a “quick guide” on the inside flap on the box for my phone and that was very helpful. It does not light up when not in use. The phone announces out loud who is calling you which i don’t like. I don’t know if i can change that. There are a lot of other features on this phone but i have not used them.The phone needs to be charged for 7 hours before you can use it. I set up mine so it could charge overnight. Overall I am very happy with this model.

Title: Great Phone
Review: I’ve had this for about a month. I have it as a back up to a cell phone and don’t use it much, but so far the phone has been terrific. Voice quality is great, buttons are intuitive, screen is clear, setup was easy and it’s easy to listen to messages and delete them. I was coming from a Gigaset phone which was nothing but trouble. All in all, I am more than satisfied with this purchase.

Title: Too complicated for us.
Review: We used a similar Panasonic phone set for more than 10 years, and the phones were easy to use, uncomplicated and worked well. However, it was time to replace them. We purchased this phone set expecting the same good quality and ease of use like the earlier purchase. The new phones came with an instruction book that when opened made us laugh. Talk about a mountain of new features. We were overwhelmed and confused often. We didn’t realize the complexity of today’s communication environment. To use each feature one must enter a code for it to work. We like the Block Call feature, but we really don’t expect to need or want the majority of the other features. We found that each phone in the new set has a problem with the speaker volume. When you answer a call the speaker’s voice is barely audible even with the volume set to maximum. When we receive a call now we always have to use the speaker phone setting to hear the person. Even then, we experience some audio distortion that makes it difficult to clearly hear the speaker. The keys are large and light in the dark which is most helpful. If a lot of features are important to you, and your hearing is really good then this is the phone for you.

Very fair price for two phones and two bases. Have had no issues with this so far. And definitely the largest print I’ve seen of all the ones we’ve tried.
