Review: The HA9000 Sound Amplifier performs as described, but it must be kept in mind that it amplifies sound, with no tone control, and does not perform as a prescription hearing aid. There is no compensation for loss of frequencies in a person’s hearing ability. Having said that, the device amplifies sound from various audio sources well for people with mild to moderate hearing loss. Those with severe hearing loss (like my wife) will find that the device will not improve comprehension of spoken words as is only possible with professional, tone-adjusting hearing aids.The HA9000 sound amplifier is competitively priced versus other similar sound amplifiers on the market. The headphones are adjustable for comfort on most head sizes. While the product description does not mention it, I was able to use a bluetooth transmitter inserted into the headphone jack to work with wireless headphones for greater freedom of movement when using the sound amplifier. The microphone extension is a useful accessory for expanding the range of captured audio. The ability to recharge the amplifier rather than having to change batteries is a definite cost savings. The included lanyard is a nice alternative to the clip for attaching the amplifier on the body. Title: Not worth the money
Review: It’s a cheaply made product. The headphones will not sit on the ear and are rigid. Since the headphones do not give/bend at all they are very uncomfortable. The sound quality is horrible with a continual buzzing sound in the background.
