Title: Average, solid, meh
Review: I paid $27 for these. I see the price fluctuates all the time. I’ve seen it go as high as $70. $27 is what they’re worth in terms of quality. Very plastic feel, nothing really premium about these. Bought them as a spare pair of headphones. They feel like if you drop them they’ll break into 100 pieces. Sound quality is okay, nothing to write home about.

Review: These are built very well and they have the look and feel I like in headphones. The sound quality is pretty decent. I’ve got an old Phillips stereo from the early 2000’s with the cool light up dials on it and it still sounds pretty good. Back to the review.Build, sound and price are all pretty good. They were pretty snug on my head and a little too snug on the top of my head. After a few days it got better as I broke them in.The ANC isn’t the best but it works. I found myself skipping tracks when I was trying to adjust the ANC way more often than I liked. Some separate buttons would have been preferable.I wish these had app support, but you need to spend more on a set before getting app support which stinks because these headphones needed to be tweaked.

Title: Non existent ANC with mediocre sound
Review: Don’t buy these for noise cancellation -they maybe. cut out 10%. Maybe. And the sound quality is that of a $50.00 Sony pair- just adequate. Get the Anker Q20 Life + for around $65 here on Amazon. They beat out any over ear headphones that are $350 or under. I have tried and tested them all. Bose, Sony, JVC, JBL, Beats. All of them. I cannot believe how many people actually do not compare the ANC but just upgrade the same brand every so often- meaning their reviews don’t hold as much weight at all. So at $120, there is no reason to buy these Philips – except maybe the British lady’s headphone voice and the cool case. But for maybe $50 then fine, since I like the sliding touch volume control & found them to be very comfortable. ANC though…just no.

Review: Tras un par de meses con estos auriculares puedo comentar varias cosas, buenas y malas:- Los compré como “reacondicionado” de Amazon por menos de 80 euros. Tenía miedo por cómo vendrían, pero aparentemente sólo tenía la caja un poco rota. Buena compra.- Suenan de lujo. Se puede decir que me gusta el buen sonido; tengo varios auriculares e intraauriculares HIFI de todo tipo (AKG 141 Monitor, Philips Phidelio X2, KEF m500, Yamaha EPH-100, Audiofly AF180, y varios otros más “de batalla”) , y os aseguro que estos PH805 suenan MUY bien. Y en teoría, para puristas, en modo cableado están “certificados Hi-Res”, aunque nunca los uso así; para cables tengo los otros.- Es cierto, no tienen APT-X. Me rallé un poco al principio, pero insisto en que suenan muy bien. Por cierto, muchos de los auriculares más caros de su sector tampoco tienen APT-X (p.e. Bose 700), por algo será.- Aíslan muy bien pasivamente del ruido exterior, pero entre tener el ANC apagado o encendido no hay mucha diferencia.- Son cómodos, pero dan calorcillo. No creo que se puedan aguantar un día de verdadero calor.- Sobre el Bluetooth con Windows 10: Estos PH805 son mis auriculares de videoconferencia durante el confinamiento de COVID19. Cero problemas, incluso en llamadas largas; no me han dejado tirado por ahora. Y sincronizan a la primera al encender el portátil. Vivo en una vivenda de unos 100 m2. Durante las llamadas de videoconferencia, puedo moverme por ella y no hay excesivas interferencias. Lo he comprobado.- No creo que filtren el ruido exterior para el micrófono durante las llamadas. Mis interlocutores me oyen bien, pero si hay ruido se quejan.- La autonomía es muy buena. Y si te da aviso de “low battery”, los pones a cargar unos minutos y ya te da para otras cuantas horas de autonomía; es como la “carga rápida” de algunos móviles.- Un detalle un poco extraño: Mi portátil es un Toshiba Satellite con carcasa de aluminio. Si tengo los auriculares puestos en modo ANC, y toco con la mano la carcasa metálica, se oye en los auriculares un ruido como “de masa”, molesto, pero que desaparece al apagar el ANC o dejar de tocar el portátil. Es muy raro (puede que sea el aislamiento eléctrico del portátil, porque con otros aparatos no me pasa).- Cuesta acostumbrarse al control táctil. No pocas veces desactivo el ANC sin querer, por culpa de un toque involuntario, o si los tengo encima de la mesa y los toco con el codo, me sale la Cortana de las narices. Subir o bajar el volumen sí me parece cómodo (movimientos con el dedo, arriba o abajo, tocando el auricular derecho)- Es cierto que no tiene app para configurarlos. Creo que tampoco se puede actualizar su firmware, lo cual siempre es bienvenido en estos cacharros para implementar alguna mejora o corrección de bugs.- Se pliegan bastante bien como para caber en una mochila media, dentro de su estuche. Éste es muy práctico y parece resistente.En fin, creo que por menos de 80 euros hice una muy buena compra. Incluso a su precio normal (130-150 euros) están muy bien. Los recomiendo.
